Camp John Hay is not anymore a camp, I guess because condo's are rising. But you can visit the Cemetery of Negativism there. You can relax under the high trees in some part, you have your picnic there if Burnham park was too crowded.

Great view with scenic surroundings and had an enjoyable walk. There are a few shops and a golf course.

I visited this place thrice already and it's cool. More pine trees and ideal for family bonding. There are also lots of attractions inside the camp. Golf course, shopping, trekking or jogging, zipline and a lot more. This place is also nice for photo shoots. Make this site as one of your destination when you are in Baguio City.If you are traveling on budget, you can ride a jeepney going to this place. The fare is only 8 pesos.

Limited activities. All you can do is walk and walk some more. Maybe, buy a coffee at the Starbucks (didn't like my coffee, btw).

After reading about the US Flag-raising in this very area in April 1945 to mark the liberation of Baguio from Japanese forces, I had to visit this site. And based from the vintage photos, this area hasn't changed for at least 70 years. There is an entrance fee but is very reasonable (there's also a student's discount) and gives you access to the Governor's House as well, the balcony of which gives a great view of the garden below where the flag raising was held.

Beautiful old buidings from when the Americans stayed here, well perserved, although many are empty, the government here is slow to act.Lovely green gardens around, very tranquil.

I enjoyed the cold weather and the pieces of history you can find in this place. It is a one stop shop, aside from awesome views it also has restos and shopping center.

After Camp John Hay was turned over to the Philippine government, our family was able to visit this part of John Hay. I was pleased to see that after decades, the place had been well kept and preserved. There is just something magical about the Bell Amphitheater. Around it, there are picnic tables and tents can be pitched for picnics. The Bell House is a museum that was preserved as if turn of the century American officials could still visit anytime.

November 2014 was my first visit to Baguio in fourteen years. Now that they have opened up Camp John Hay to the public, we put it on our list of attractions to visit. It's clean, green and good for souvenir photos. There is adequate parking. The guards are courteous and helpful. There are new hotels and lodges inside the Camp plus lots of restaurants and shops which sell branded goods. What interested us was the Eco Trail for birdwatching. And we were not disappointed. At the Eco-trail behind the Butterfly Garden, we saw the Citrine Canary Flycatcher, Sulphur Billed Nuthatch, Blue headed fantail, Turqoise Flycatcher, mountain white eye, gray streaked flycatcher and of course the common crow. Can't wait to get back to do more birdwatching. For the other interests, the adventure park has paintball, target shooting, slide and rapelling and wall climbing.

Otherwise, for the well traveled person, this is just a regular looking park. Plus, you have to pay an entrance fee.

I always enjoy my stay at CJH!!! I won't forget the time we were billeted in a villa there....Wow, it was an awesome stay!!! its just unfortunate that when you plan to visit and stay at CJH make sure you have to book early as this place is fully-booked during the summer time. But at least, we enjoyed most of the place CJH has to offer plus the thrilling "Tree Top Adventure" ziplining courses!!! We truly enjoyed it....Till our next Baguio adventure!!!
