This is the place where all orchids lovers should go, you can see different kinds/types of orchids here not only orchids they have many kinds of plants also. You can eat also here because they have their own restaurant although we didn't try to eat there. There is no entrance fee so if you are around the area, you can visit this place.

It has no entrance fee. All you need to do is write your name on their guest log book. I love the place. It's so peaceful inside with all the plants. There's even a restaurant and souvenir shop inside. The place is clean, especially their rest room. When you get in, it's like you're in a majestic place... i just love it!

It's a wonderful place to relax, take a hearty lunch and after meal coffee and stroll. Visitors are treated to a hot ginger tea and the ushers and usherettes are so polite and attentive; always at your beck and call. The place provides free lunch or snacks to the kutseros who bring in tourists that's why it's almost always certain that you will be taken to this place when you take a calesa ride. It's not a tourist trap and people there are not pushy.. I don't recall having paid any amount for an entrance fee..I think there was none at all. But you'll have to pay a small token when you use the lavatory which is clean and well- maintained.

This is a combined restaurant and attraction but is listed by TA as an attraction. As others have commented, one would not know of the garden from the admittedly neat road. That the house opposite has a floral display gives you a clue that this part of Vigan is pleasant. One enters through a small number of souvenir type stalls. The gardens are lovely: my favourite was the bonsai that was in full sun. I thought to myself 'how does it survive the at times oppressive heat?' But it does! The restaurant is twee: touristy and just a tad tacky. For P685, we had bagnet (pork crackling: a local specialty), an eggplant dish with fried rice, a San Miguel Light and a buko and a pineapple juice. Waiters were slow to attend to diners but part of this is due to the layout that has a number of blind corners. There were at least 30 diners at the restaurant, impressive for a Monday. Some even arrived by (horse drawn) calesa - we had enjoyed our ride for P150 to Bantay Church's Belltower earlier across the river. One toilet was out of service but the unisex one was clean and had a lovely garden view (although others may be able to see you.) The restaurant is completely in shade which helps on a typical warm to hot, sunny day.I had to queue for a short while which as a male I am not accustomed to.

Upon arriving at the place the first thing in my mind is "Where the heck is the Garden!?" Are we lost?!(with an awful face of course). But here's the cue it is really a hidden garden haha!. It is located at the back of a simple bungalow house which you'll probably take a doubt for. So a local pointed us where is the way to the said garden but before you'll enter, first thing is you will pay a small amount of entrance fee( just like a token, not that expensive). So this is it! I was really hundred percent can't believe what I saw!. It was really a huge and a beautiful garden!( who would have thought it will really exist!.) Different types of flowers, garden plants etc. but what I loved the most is their plant curtain( I am not sure what kind of plant is it) but it is really insanely beautiful. There is also a part in the garden where a mini restaurant is located( caters all the delicacy of Vigan, including their famous Empanada). After indulging my eyes and taking a numerous selfie I got a chance also to take a look on their souvenir shop( located in the front part of the garden) different handicrafts, their famous burnay pots, and colorful printed shirts. I will surely recommend this place if you are a garden lover surely you'll love the ambiance.:)

A little, but interesting garden place is you want to go a little outside of the town center and if you got spare time ... which we did.

Make sure that you have reserved a table as it gets quite busy during lunch time and the wait can be very long. Try their Pinakbet as that was very delicious. Many enclaves are picture-worthy.If you plan to use their toilet, be ready with their required "voluntary" toilet fee.

The place is a large garden which the owner opened for the public to visit. You'll see different type of plants, trees even animals. Entrance is free but you can offer donations to feed the animals (such as monkeys and birds) and for maintenance. The place is clean and you can buy floral plants if you're into it. You can also buy clay pots (burnay) and small handcrafts as souvenirs. Truly, something you want to go if you'd like a refreshing place to visit when you're in Vigan, Ilocos Sur.

Worth the trip to the edge of town, an inexpensive tricycle ride. The gardens had lot of different flowers and plants attractively arranged. It also had a nice cafe.

delioania

There really wasn't anything spectacular about it. The plants can be found at anyone's backyard. It was part of our tour -- and we should have skipped it

I understand that it's a peak season so our orders, bills, and even change are delayed. Anyway, they should have prepared for this season to serve their guests efficiently. Thoug, I am sure you'll love the "garden". ;)
