this neighborhood has seen many changes in the past ten years. Nice art galleries, cosy restaurants and boutiques make for a pleasant stroll.

I went Westboro in January, and it was fun enough. But as I read in guide book for tourist, it must be much more enjoyable in summer. I had a famous crape and hot chocolate and those are ok taste.

I love all the little shops to browse. I always find something I want. Only thing is parking can be an issue but it is worth it.

Great place to work, love, exercise, play, eat, and sleep. Everything you want in one place. Great restaurants and even great choice for residences. Still plays second fiddle to the Glebe though.

I have lived in Westboro for 6 years I really like the place! There is so much to see, farmers market on Saturdays on Richmond rd. Also I appreciate the parkway not far to walk there when living in Westboro area. The little shops are good and interesting to see a bit expensive but worth visiting. The connection with bus is a 20 min walk from westboro and it was very helpful to me! Now as I moved out Westboro I miss the place alot!

Lots of shops of all types. A small town feeling at the edge of the city. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Park on the Main Street and walk to all the great places.

From great restaurants-- the pub , Corner (friendly, great nachos and burgers) to Gezelig and Savoy, best kept desert place and amazing lunch/ dinner entres at Village Cafe, or try chez Francois for a taste of Paris. Mec, roots, trailhead, bushtaka and so much more! Come to west feet June 12-14 and experience the community.

Having grown up in the West End we frequented Westboro often and loved the Mom and Pop atmosphere. To-day is is a hip, high priced area full of very up to date stores and restaurants. It is extremely crowded and the parking is a nightmare. Many people love it, but our generation feel it has been ruined. We now avoid it.

In the 5 years I have lived in Westboro, the number of good pubs and restaurants has increased.Churchills has a good selection of beers and reasonable pub food.Gazelig is the best new restaurant.

Enjoy browsing the many clothing, sports and jewelry boutiques. Many places to just stop for coffee, lunch or a nice evening meal.

This is a great neighbourhood in Ottawa. Not as well known as some of the others in town, it definitely feels like a nice, small neighbourhood with great restaurants and shops. I'm not down in this area often as it is quite a trek from my own neighbourhood but I do try and come out as much as I can.

Westboro is a growing neighbourhood that pulsates with the energy of the younger population that is moving into the area. It boasts some great shops and restaurants, and outdorrs lovers can find the Mountain Equipment Co-op and several canoe and kayak shops on Richmond Road in the heart of Westboro. Many of the shops are independently owned--some trendy, some off-beat, some unique, most pricey.Be sure to enjoy a stroll through Westboro during your trip to Ottawa. And I defy you to get out of the neighbourhood without spending any money...

Although not as well known as the Glebe or byward, this little street is perfect for a coffee break or to catch a drink while watching the sens, 'just enough' traffic without it being dull... The nearby wellington Street is a perfect extention offering plenty of food choices.

Westboro now rivals other places to stroll in Ottawa. A high concentration of outdoor sports, canoeing, cycle and camping stores reside here. Some decent restaurants and new pubs, coffee shops, a magazine store, a few clothing stores, a kitchen store, children's toy store.
