We have camped there twice, many years ago. Very steep rough dirt road to get up there. Boats with motors are allowed. We took our tent trailer, & another van took our very heavy 18 foot boat up. Nearly burned out the brakes on the van going back down. Pretty lake. Its a back up from the dam that separates the 2 camp grounds. The water level vary's & lots of dead heads to watch for. Not safe for water skiing. But decent fishing. LOTS of mosquitoes.

We were told about this pristine small lake from someone who lives at Harrison Lake. We thought we'd check it out. Despite the rugged, logging road to get there climbing the mountainous trail, we drove the 8 km. from the #1 highway to the beautiful warm water lake. There were provincial park camp sites and picnic tables and toilets available with a basic boat launch (for fishing boats - not waterskiing). We went for a canoe trip and picnic. We saw bald eagles flying overhead, and heard the sounds of a small nearby waterfall, felt the soft breezes and nap-inducing sunshine as we canoed from the boat launch/picnic area to about half way to the other end of the lake. The road is a logging road for a reason and you can see that the spots previously cut have grown back in with fresh, new green trees. The water was very clean and warm enough like a back yard pool to swim in.One day, this lake is probably going to get bought up by some resort developer which will end all the natural beauty and isolation at the moment, so if you love to back pack, or camp in tents, enjoy it while it lasts. One temporary drawback was that the people on the other side of the lake were ensuring the larger wildlife were thoroughly scared off with their semi-automatic pop, pop, pops. May have been just that day while we were there, but then again, you never really know with some rednecks. Ha ha.
