I went there with my boyfriend (now husband) who lives locally. I enjoyed the water, the sky, the birds, the walking and biking people, and the dogs, including the air. When there is sunset, my husband loves to take pictures for the sun shining on some of the buildings. I just love the place and would like to walk there more often.

A little busy but always fun. Get there early to get parking, and simply enjoy the beach. If you get there at low tide it is great for the kids.

Ideal day getaway! One stop outing for practically everyone and for any age. You can be on your own or with the dog or with spouse, family and friend/s or children. like I said "Everyone" . The place has many nature trails, ample free parking. large play ground and tennis court, beach and barbeque area. The bistro offers simple fares but fabulous view of Mount Baker and ocean . Groupon occasionally offer deals on the restaurant food as well. Clean washroom!!!

I was at Centennial Beach in Tsawwassen yesterday with my granddaughters. On a sunny day, when it's not too windy, it's a beautiful quite spot with a large parking lot, excellent nature trails for long or short walks and a great activity play area for young children. The beach is not very sandy, but the whole Park is very well maintained & patrolled. There is a restaurant with picnic tables on site & clean washrooms. Very quite during the week days & the Park is open from dawn to dusk.

Superb beach and just far enough away from the city to dissuade people from squatting there. Still, if you don't get there early on a Saturday or Sunday, you may find all of the wonderful shady parts claimed by large family gatherings of Europeans, Asians and that whole melting pot of our culture these days.A great place to bring your mountain bike too as there is a lovely path along the waters edge that can be circumnavigated in less than an hour. This is definitely a kids-friendly beach.

Nice quiet area tucked away from the main road . Depending on the time you are there stop by near the ferries for an excellent sun set view. The beach is not very sandy & great for long walks. Small restaurant with great food.

Easy parking, long nature trails, washrooms, picnic tables, easy access to the beach, when the tide is out there are lots of pools for children to run through. Dawn to dusk park. Fantastic view, well maintained.

This is a gorgeous local beach to visit. Walking trails with mountain views, beach volleyball, great new playground, and amazing concession stand with quality menu items. This is one of my favourite places for a photo shoot as I love the tall grasses and mountains in the background. The lighting is nice when the sun is setting since you are facing west with the beach and mountains in the background with the sun lighting your subjects. This is a really windy beach so be prepared.

Perfect for picnic during nice weather, you can go in the ocean and it is pretty warm and shallow. The Boundary Trail goes a long ways around the bay. You can walk, run or bike it. Very nice spectacular views.

Driftwood, soft sand and a damn cold ocean. BC style! Friendly locals! Found a jellyfish. Kids loved building driftwood forts and even braved the Pacific Ocean chills.

It is so soothing to walk Centennial Beach because of the two paths you can choose to follow: 1. Choosing to walk along the beach area only, will soothe your soul, or,2. Choosing to walk along the beach then veer off the beach path to enjoy the bountiful nature trail. No matter which you choose, your soul will rejuvenate!

One of the few beaches that allows fires and cooking in the rings provided. Great for families and functions in reserved areas. Wheelchair accessible playground for the children. Shallow water for safe swimming. Beautiful scenery of ocean, Mount Baker and Mount Ranier. Food at concession is only so-so. Bring your own.

The kids (ages 2.5, 5, 7, 7) loved it with a capital "L". This one has one of the tallest rope climbers and an insanely large beach for wading and building sandcastles. They had to be dragged away only because we had to eat. The playground is conveniently within sight of the picnic tables, allowing grown ups to relax in the shade while the kids go wild. The washrooms / changing rooms are large with warm outdoor showers to rinse off.

Want to see Vancouver shimmering across the water and looking like the mythical Emerald City? This park is often tranquil during the week. and you can lie on the beach near the water and never see another human being. The walkways are interesting with many small signs explaining the flora. A cafe services your more basic needs and has the best grilled cheese sandwich this side of the Rockies. Definitely worth checking out, and five minutes from downtown Tsawwassen.

Good place to spend the day, but there isn't enough picnic tables... It's a lot nicer when you pack a family lunch/dinner and you have somewhere comfortable to enjoy it..
