Squamish Valley Golf club is a must visit when you are in Squamish. Excellent food, reasonably priced, great service. Wonderful views. Also a must play golf course, excellent pro shop and staff.

More often than not, Squamish is just a 'drive by' on the way to Whistler, but for golfers it should be a stop. The scenic Squamish Valley golf and country Club is worth the stop. It is a flat but varied course with great conditioning and a challenging layout. Many improvements have been made over the years, and the course is no longer all raised, domed greens, but they are still tough to hit, and tough to putt. This is a great golf value.

Did an afternoon round on a Friday with my wife. It was not busy at all as we were a twosome with one group in front of us and no one behind us the whole round. We took our sweet time and took in the great scenery. It rained hard the night before so it was pretty wet still but all in all a great day. The course was well groomed and very nice staff. For a quick ride from North Vancouver I rather come here than some other courses in the Valley as the drive up is way easier and nicer. Rounds after 1PM are $55....awesome.

Awesome value for a wonderful golf course. Love it!!! Dan, Scott, Brian and the staff are just great as well.

My brother convinced me to stop here and hit a few balls at the driving range and I'm really glad he did . The views are stunning. There are mountains in every direction. The staff was helpful and friendly. They loaned us some clubs and we hit the driving range for about an hour. Compared to Southern California prices, this place is very reasonable. I would love to go back one day.

This is a very good choice if you find the green fees rather overwhelming in Whistler. The course is fairly flat so it can be walked. The scenery is lovely and it is in very good condition. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and we also enjoyed a delicious breakfast. The only negative was that on about 3-4 holes on the back nine due to fish spawning, you get the odor of dead fish. If you plan to golf in this area, you cannot go wrong with this course.

Great course, we enjoyed immaculate conditions, and wonderful service. Far better than the local city courses within Greater Van, so definitely worth the occasional drive to Squamish to enjoy this fun (and generally flat) course.

Many people drive right by this course on their way to Whistler. Too bad as you missed out on a very nice course. Great setting, very good conditions, and a fair test of golf. Will challenge all of your game. Scenery is just as good as any other course on the sea to sky. Reasonably priced. Treat yourself next time.

I stopped to play here on my way up to Whistler for a 7 round golf trip.I was very pleasantly surprised! This course is VERY tight and very enjoyable. To score on this course, you MUST be able to control your ball flight / distance / trajectory. Greens were suprisingly good, althoough there were a ton of ball marks that had not been repaired.Certainly does not compete with Nicklaus North, Big Sky, Whistler Golf Club or Chateau Whistler, but this is a solid golf course that is worth your time to play.No need for a power cart - this course is very walkable and is relatively flat. We played this course in 3:45 walking as a twosome and we were not rushing at all.

This golf course is located an hours drive west from City of Vancouver. About 45 mins from West Vancouver, 20 mins from Furry Creek, and about half the way to Whistler. Rates range between $55-$70 + taxes. What you can expect Is a mature Parkland golf, although there are a few holes that do require navigatin pass some knolls (Hole 3 comes to mind). While not particularly long (measuring 6463/6218/5627/5203 off the Black/Blue/White/Red tees respectively), the course does provide a good challenge for all but the best golfers). Except for the winter season, the fully filled out trees that line the fairways offer golfers very little opportunity for a clean look at the greens. Keeping your tees shots straight, is almost the only way to shoot Par or better. Greens - rolls true and moderately in speed with nice subtlety. Around 6 on the stimpmeter. There are a few greens that seem to be built on a mould making stopping any approach shots to be tricky.Difficulty - 3/5. Key points stay away from the trees at all costs!Service - 3.5/5. Friendly municipal level service. Value - 3/5. A bit of a drive, but worth the visit if your on the way to/from Whistler.
