This walk is situated in a lovely park and provides busts of all the Australian Cricket captains over the years. Interesting to reminisce about those you remember as giants of the game and those who perhaps captained only one or two tests.This couples well with the nearby Bradman Birthplace Museum and both are well worth a visit.

Good place to spend a short break, and reminisce about how old you must be to remember them all. Free, and in the middle of a lovely green park. Only a couple of mins stroll from the centre of town.

This is a significant cricket site and is a small walk with an avenue of australian cricketers in a park. There a large signs on the road and in town that leads you to the park.

If visiting Cootamundra. This is worth a look. Every Australian Cricket Captain. From Bradman to Clarke. The history is captured well.

Cootamundra is a treasure hidden away in the NSW country side, it's certainly not its only claim to fame but Sir Donald's birthplace certainly puts this place on the map.I enjoyed lovely walks around the town on a recent visit, the paths, the parks are a treasure, I particularly enjoyed the Captains Walk it has been conceived and executed so nicely make it a must do if you are in town.Alan

The Cricket Captains walk features the sculptures of all the Cricketing Captains from David William Gregory in1877 to almost the present day,.Also each plaque denotes, tests, wins, loses and other statistics.There is a life size sculpture of Sir Donald Bradman half way through the walk.This walk would be very interesting to any cricket enthusiast and also for those who would just like a leisurely walk around a nice park.

The Cricket Captains Walk has a beautiful sculptured bust of every captain of the Australian Cricket Team. Also in the park is a full size sculpture of Sir Don Bradman batting - great opportunity for the kids to have a pic bowling to the greatest batsman in Australian history. Its a very pleasant walk, easily accessed from the road.

If you're even remotely interested in Australia's Test Cricket History, take a wander past the Busts of every Captain who has led the Country since Pre-Ashes Days.

I'm privileged to be living across the street from Jubilee Park and The Captains Walk. The park is beautiful, but could be a lot better if only the council would work a little harder at replacing dead and struggling plants/trees also a good weed/bindi control. This an extremely popular park, used by town folk for special occasions and town celebrations. Tourist mass daily for good reason, The Captains Walk is very popular with cricket fans, just a shame no one had the forthsight to erect signing showing the way to Bradmans birthplace.

What an interesting, free, enjoyable, sporting (and even cultural!) attraction we came across in this lovely, historic little town when we discovered the Australian Cricket Captains' Walk in a lovely park in the heart of Cootamundra. The excellent bronze busts, some of my favourites sculpted by women artists, have plaques detailing the test match stats of each captain. There is also a wonderful life-size bronze of Don Bradman at the crease. As did another reviewer, I thought the busts of Gilchrist and Ponting, and also Kim Hughes, were amazing. We popped down the road and saw (but did not go inside) Don Bradman's birth-place, too. I have included 11 photos with this review.

Its free, its a nice walk around the park. The sculptures are very good. Not just very good. Excellent even. Love the lifesize statue of the Don. He and i had a great selfie :)

Tucked away in Cootamundra is a brilliant walk showcasing Australian Cricket Captains. Everyone is a captured bronze head statue & details of their journey as an Aussie Cricket Captain! Ponting, Gilchrist & Clarke are life like. Free!

Cootamundra has some lovely parks and old homes, very nice place fro a morning or evening stroll around if your staying in that area of NSW.

A very interesting display of busts of all of Australia's cricket captains. Well worth a visit if passing through Cootamundra.

It is well worth spending an hour or two here if you are passing through or staying overnight at Cootamundra. Each past Australian Test Cricket Captain is represented here by a modest bronze bust sculpture on a marble statue inscribed with interesting information about their Test Match career.There is also a full-size statue of Sir Donald Bradman in action along with a tribute to Unaarrimin (Johnny Mullagh), the leading aboriginal player in the first Australian cricket team to tour England in 1868. The setting is really peaceful and I enjoyed a leisurely late lunch marvelling at the caricatures created. Absolutely marvellous...
