This is a beautiful piece of Australia. Soft white sands, lifesavers in peak season and on weekends. Easy parking and very pretty.
Beautiful vista, beach stretching for miles with islands offshore. A popular holiday destination especially in the school holidays.
Lovely safe beach which is patrolled and close to everything, loved it. All amenities and easy to access. Wonderful surf and great views
A great beach for families. Very big, lots of parking with a cafe for coffee and lunch just a few minutes away.
Lovely beach with nice waves that kids could surf all day. The beach is huge and is great for walking along or just surfing or swimming. During peak season is patrolled. But seemed very safe surf beach.
beautiful white sand and crystal clear blue ocean. it is a large long beach with small surf. Quiet with just a few people on it on a hot day. Perhaps around 20 people on the beach at the most.
The first time we visited this beach was about 12 months ago on a perfect calm day. The water was like glass and the conditions were perfect. It was stunning. We went there again just acouple of weeks ago and this time there were thunderstorms on the horizon and it even more stunning. Some people don't like to swim here as there is a Great White breeding ground nearby but for others it's just too good to resist. There is a camping ground right next to the beach if you are looking for aplace to stay, as well as aadecent hotel. The hotel has a restaurant and bar, and about 1km back from the beach are some shops for essentials. At the southern end of the beach you can climb the headland for some great views. The beach does have 4WD access aswell.
Open Pacific beach, use when patrolled. Easy reach from road and close to accommodation. Close by BBQ's.
One of the most pristine and beautiful beaches, so untouched miles of white sand, clear blue sea. We walked every day the fresh air invigorating and other users friendly
Not like Ocean City, MD, where I slammed head first into the sand on a boogie board! The waves break far out and die in waist-deep water, so no worries about face plants. Few people on the beach on a Saturday in mid-November. Beautiful!
Walking from the surf club either go north or south. The beach can get windy and do not be tempted to swim along the way UNLESS you are an expert at reading Rips.
Bennetts Beach Hawks Nest absolute miles and miles of beautiful white sand and blue water caught many great fish on this beach and have had great days with family and friends on this awesome beach
Great for fishing, swimming, walking, fosicking, frolicking, sightseeing. End of beach offers a wonderful walk up yaccabba for some magnificent views.
Worth a long walk in either direction sand squeaky clean or spend time at picnic tables soaking up the atmosphere ideal for families.
Lovely sweeping, white sandy beach which stretches for miles and which is bookended at one end by Yacaaba Headland. It is worth a walk in that direction to climb the dunes from which there are views across the headland and Port Stephens.Add to that the magnificent views out across the bay to the islands and you have a perfect postcard scene on a fine sunny day.
