short sealed road to lighthouse; fantastic views of Ningaloo reef from the parking area which has information about the history of the lighthouse
Best place to watch the sunrise and the sunset. A great view of the area and something you can do at zero cost (except for the rental car to get you there).
great views of ocean and bay , nice explanations of history surrounding the area , nice description of wildlife expected to be seen ,
What spot to visit. The sunset was amazing, we also spotted whales out in the ocean (Sept 2014)... Just a lovely place ...
The lighthouse can get busy just before sunset but it is the best time to go. Watching the sunset up there is a great way to end the day. The view if the coastline and HEH Navy Communications base is great. There is some interesting sign boards with historical information.
The view is great from here. I really enjoyed reading about the history and seeing the sand bags from WWII. My father was in that war so I'm very interested.
Views amazing over the entire peninsula so make sure you head up to the lighthouse to check out the perspective. It is awesome. The information up there is great also, gives you some local history and easy to read to and set up well. A must see I think.
Opposite the lighthouse, there is a great elevated lookout from the top of a hill, with a great perspective looking back towards Exmouth and the Indian Ocean. Well worth the short drive to access it.
Great place to enjoy the sunset you can drive up and park to enjoy it, but can be a little windy. The outlook is fantastic, remember to take your camera!
Nice view of the ocean and can be windy. If you are driving past take some time to stop for a bit and check out the view.
Not far from Exmouth, with a spectacular view along the coast and up to the end of the peninsula and across to the gulf. Interesting bit of history to read also
Wonderful place to give long distant views on a 360 deg vista, especially for sunsets. Very informative on why the lighthouse was built but not sure if there is entry to it as we arrived there late evening. Makes a very good landmark when travelling on the never ending roads.
Worth the short detour and informative postings of historical interest. Our guide also told us about WW2 and subsequent airforce postings in this area
perfect place for a great sunset, take a glace of wine with youcan be windy at that timeclose to the beaches with the turtles
Easy missed but easily accessed from the main road, the short drive to the lighthouse affords excellent coastline views for 100+ kilometers. The are informational plaques to enlighten visitors, but you can't enter the lighthouse. Go for the expansive views. Windy!
