We tried to eat here 3 times but it has island hours 9-1, 4-?. The service was great from a very friendly and environmentally aware Venezuelan woman. The food takes a while but it's no biggie because of the gorgeous view over the ocean. There is also a comprehensive library of all things Providencia including dive guides, Seaflower Biosphere info and histories. The menu is varied and has some unique flavours including tamarind juice and delicious local bread. Each evening at 6 they show a documentary on the annual crab migration and Caribbean / ocean themed movies from 7:30.

Thank god this place exists between the usual walking of both beaches south west-freshwater, is a cozy and chill out coffe shop to stop and get some fresh air coming from the mountains at its open balcony over-viewing the jungle and the ocean, try its beautifully done and tasty homemade corn ice_cream and watch the documentary about the crab season in the island -then you'll want to book another trip to this island and see this spectacle of nature

The Lighthouse is run bz a venezuelan woman who made some documentary films of providencia. Stop there and order a nice cup of coffee (or ceviche) and watch one of her films on the terrace which gives you an insight of the life on the island! Very interesting!

We were in Providencia during the annual migration of the black crab. After seeing many crabs on the road we wanted to learn more about them. Lighthouse had a educational film about the crabs and the important role they play on the island. The film was very good, but the service and friendly people at lighthouse were great. They adjusted the start time so we could see the film and still get our rented mules back in time. The area with the art collection for sale was small, but there were additional small sculptures on the table and the whole place was decorated beautifully. In addition the view at treetop level gave us the opportunity to see some more local wildlife up close.

Muito bacana, o lugar é lindo. O farol é o seu point, muito bacana para tirar fotos. vale muito a visita.

Espacio muy agradable, comida preparada con amor. La mejor torta de calabaza! El tiempo se dilata estando allí. Muy buen servicio. Café de buena calidad y el mejor helado de maíz que he probado!! Buen lugar para encontrar souvenirs.

Muito bonito e bem preservado farol que faz parte de um pitoresco cartão postal da ilha, sendo um dos seus pontos de interesse turístico mais frequentados para uma foto de recordação.
