İf you can manage to be there on a sunny day its even more great.. İf you re planning to go there on foot dont forget to take some water on the way you ll definately need it. !!!

From high point of High Castle it opens beautiful view to old and new parts of Lviv city. Route to high point (more 400 meters) take about 15 minutes from entry point and it is good kind of spend of time together with family. The middle of path begins old road, which adds middle-century attributes to environment. Unfortunatelly it is all advantages of this famous places. Trivial, without historical highlights, the streets before lifting. Rusty staircase that leads up to the middle path. On the way back it opens view to the huge but not very well landscaped park. Perhaps a certain influence on the impression had an early spring and a lack of greenery, which would be greatly embellished way.

An excellent all round view of the surrounding area, this hill, which doesn't actually have a castle as such, does provide a great viewing opportunity. Getting tired climbing it all? Fear not. There's always a drinks and snacks stand close by on the route up!

ıf u want to see everywhere of Lviv, you should climb this hill. it can be little bit exhausting but valuable for that...

The best peak for see Lviv's panorama, you can see all over Lviv. City has just one peak and Castle located there. All visitors should visit there!!!

a wonderful view from the high castle.. you can see even the historical gothic church from the top if the weather is clear

Nice View Point but hard to climb. In the end of your hard climb you can see very nice scene. I advise you to visit this place at the sun-set

Have to say, after walking up the stairs the view better be worth it, is really a long way up, but luckily it didn't disappoint ! You have 360* view of the entire city which is gorgeous by the way

After some 15 min walk from Rynok Square and an easy hike at the Castle grounds, we were at the observation platform overlooking city center. Looking for a panoramic city view? Do the steep hike up the castle's stairway. Not interested in challenging hike? Do a walk in the park. Better even, tour the area by bike.

Lovely walk up to the top of the city.would not be very inspiring on a dull day .lots of quirky little sights when you get there.

Good panorama but not the best in Lviv (one from City Tower is better). Take in mind that it is hard to go up there and it takes almost an hour from the centre.

There is no castle when you climb up the hill. But what you will find is a very nice view of Lviv. It is a steady uphill climb so come prepared with the right shoes.

Very long way up and view was not very different from the one from city hall. This hill is artificial. It was developed in memory of the previously located here castle. This was the most interesting fact for me

There is no castle but a pleasant and not too long walk up to the top of a hill where you have a nice view on Lviv.

Yes, I was expecting to see a castle there. No, the castle doesn't exist. although it did at some point.The highest point of Lviv is great at sunset. You can still see the whole city, yet the lights are starting to come on which turns into another beautiful sight. Walking up that hill also makes a great exercise so bring some water with you!
