Probably had more expectations from the beach in Kallithea but it actually disappointed me. The water had a nice colour and it was clean but there was a lot of trash on the sand, tree branches, sea weed, and so on. And it was also very narrow.
Kallithea beach is amazing. But don't go there in July or August. Beach is quite small and all the tourist from surrounding are there. The crowd there is amazing. :(
The water is nice and clear, very salty! The beach however needs cleaning. There is a lot of tradh and cigarette butts.
The beach in Kallithea is quite narrow. It was not crowded in September so OK, but I guess it's not the same in July or August
The beach really is perfect - golden sand, very shallow for perhaps 30m out. Quite a few beach sellers in Aug - none of them hassled you though.
Average beach quality. Sea is not like a cyrystal clean. Young trendy people around. Yellow Beach Bar is nice!
Loved the Hotel Country Inn. But disliked Kalathea in the evening.Because it was too busy... But it was peak season!
The view is beautiful, clear water with colorful fish, natural sand beach with pine trees where you can hide from sun.
Beautiful beach with crystal clear water. There are also many restaurants / taverns at the seaside for eating something good.
The most beautiful beaches on the three fingers - white sand, crystal clear water ... in June it was not crowded at all - definitely a must-visit :)
beach clean, water clear, it is a mix of shingle and sand so I would advise investing in a pair of water pumps to save any unnecessary pain!!
Lovely beach but steep descent to get to it. Plenty of loungers and little bars who bring your food and drink to you on the beach. Had the misfortune to go down there last week when the heavens opened. Got absolutely drenched walking back up the hill through a torrent of water. Don't let this put you off visiting the beach.
Lovely and clean, however very hard on feet with shingles, rocks etc. Beach/ swim shoes needed. Lovely clear waters and a really Nice sea breeze which keeps you cool under the baking sun.
Good selection of beach bars/tavernas and some quieter areas if you have your own parasol etc.The food served is generally very good and prices reasonable.
Kallitheas beach is a steep descent from the Country Inn Hotel but can be approached off the main road and there are two ways of doing this one down a very steep incline and one down steps near the underpass. This is the one we chose and is quite the best way if you are not as able as you used to be.
