The Vrdelni Kolonada is a nice piece of architecture. It makes a really good background of the photos, but that's all. You can spend here some time, drink water from the springs, with one of these special cups, and then you're done. It certainly wasn't highlight of my visit in Karlovy Vary.

One of the most beautiful places on Earth. So classy, talking a walk in nature, breath-taking architecture and fairy-tale scenery. One of my favorite spas in Europe :) Planing another trip here soon!

This is the place where most of the springs are located. One can buy a cup from any of the nearby stores and drink the water from the hot springs here. The place itself is quite grand and one can feel the splendor inside. The design is really good and photograph enthusiasts will surely love it here (both clicking and getting clicked)

This is where most of the hot springs you get the mineral water from are located. The colonnade itself is quite grand; I imagine it's pretty nice and cool in the summer, in the winter it was a welcome refuge from all the snow...If you "take the waters", buy a special cup at any of the myriad stands and shops around the city - it has a built-in straw for sipping the water.

Lovely collonade. Nice dimensions, and the decoration is quite pretty. Being Karlovy Vary, there are the waters in the collonade, so a cup is a necessary accessory.

A nice place to visit for relaxing and taking out of your mind the word stress. Especially for the third age people this is a very nice place. Buy the special cup and drink the water that is coming into three temperatures. I may visit again this place in the age of 65.

All kolonadas are peacefull and you just relax viewing them. Just drink some water, enjoy, sit there. I would just recommend all people to escape for everyday life and spend few days at that amasing place

A selection of beautiful buildings with touch of glamour. Some good restaurants and great shopping! Lots of different nationalities, very cosmopolitan.

The building itself isn't very impressive (built in communist times, it's probably the ugliest colonnade in Karlovy Vary), but seeing this several-meters high geyser is obligatory. You also have there genuine mineral water that comes in 3 temperatures (careful, one is very hot!). You can buy special drinking cup on the spot.

This is a wonderful example of a spa town. Just wandering around is a pleasure in itself but once one samples the various mineral waters in either a special drinking vessel or even one's own plastic cup, the tourist really begins to appreciate the reason for the location of the town. The mineral waters vary greatly in taste with some being more salty and others appear to have a very high mineral content. One has to watch out for the temperature as that can be 32 degrees but at least one spring is simply too hot to taste at all.

Something you must see. I recomend to walk from the Masaryka Street up to Diana lookout. Its a 40 minutes walk with small children.
