Magical ride in a traditional horse drawn carriage across the beautiful French countryside. Anne Poirson the host speaks excellent English. She shows you through the barn where she keeps a wide range of animals and then lets you help harness the horse ready for the ride. When we went on the ride, there were two other horses that ran free alongside the carriage but under her control. This was a very special experience. Our ride was towards sunset and we have magical memories of the pastel colours of the French countryside as we travelled along. We stopped along the way and picked wild plums for a snack. It is also possible to order a picnic to have along the way. We were a group of friends but this would be a great experience for families or couples.
