The telegondola must be the attraction number 1 in Piatra Neamt. It gives you a very nice view of the city, price is ok, no waiting time, and the gondola itself is in perfect conditions. Not much to do at he top of the mountain but you can take some nice pics :)

You get to see the city from above, and the view from Cozla hill over the surrounding area is great. Get a sweater if you go in the evening, as it is much cooler up there! Also, get 4 coins of 50 bani if you want to use the telescope on the main viewing platform.

Why climb a mountain when you can take the easy way up...and down. The view is spectacular from your perch high atop the eastern Carpathians on Mt. Cozla. For $5 it's a bargain. The cable system is from a reknown Austrian company and is in excellent condition so I wasn't at all concerned for my safety. The view at 657 meters or 2,155 ft. is breathtaking of the other mountains, the lake (Bâtca Doamnei) and the city of Piatra Neamt. There is also a ski lift there for the winter season.

If you get to visit Piatra Neamt, take the telegondola ride, it's fun and not that expensive. You get to see the whole town from up above and you end up in some kind of fortress(I don't know if I'm right, anyway). The cabins have plenty of room for about 8 people, which is ok. Overall, fun experience and lovely memories

I suggest you take this ride during summer. the view is fantastic and you could enjoy the view while having a coffee or a refreshing drink. dont miss it for the world! there is also a very nice restaurant up there which is reflecting the hospitality of the people in the area. When you arrive on top they will welcome you with a shot of "tuica" (traditional drink) and a piece of smoked pork fat ("slana"). enjoy it!

is it's very easy to find the Telegondola in Piatra Neamt, because is the main attraction there. the price is average. the ride up is beautiful, some emotions on the ride, but nothing to worry about. at the top, there are restaurants and large place to admire surroundings and the town, and definitely to take great pictures. It's a bad choice to go there when is wind or cloudy.

Is intresting only for the kids.Up there is nothing to do, windy, could, and nothing to remember........The place belong to rich politicians from București and the local rich ex -Comunists.

The Teledondola is cheap and easy to find (Piatra Neamt is not a big city so you can definitely visit it by foot). It is very close to the train station and to the Central Plazza Hotel. The trip takes 6 minutes one way, about half a trip you will have a beautiful view of the city and the Bistrita valey. The last half of the trip the landscape is more rustic - you will be surrounded by the Cozla hill. They are still building things on the top of the hill, so you can't do so much up there, but the trip is a "must do" if you are visiting or just passing by. Tip1: the landscape is beautiful on the day light but in the evening is awesome. I recommend you to go up before sunset and go down after sunset. You will not regret it!Tip2: on the first monday of every month, the Telegondola is closed for inspection/ control.

The Telegondola is inexpensive (16 Lei for an adult), and takes you up on to the crest of a hill from the station, which is a short walk from the Central Plaza hotel. You get a good view of all the town, and beyond, towards the nearby lake. There are some good photos to be had. There are various shops and a cafe at the top, but I didn't use these.Taking photos from the Telegondola itself is ok, but the transparent plastic is not crystal clear, so your shots won't be great.

Pretty nice to have an escalator like this in a small town like Piatra Neamt. Not much to see of the city but it is good for tourism.Very organized, not crowded and the view from the top is quite amazing. The top area is still under construction but you will find plenty of souvenir shops, restaurants and terraces.

The cable car connecting the city centre with Cozla mountain is one of the current highlights of the city of Piatra Neamt. It has been constructed in 2007 by the Austrian company Doppelmayr and has a total length of almost two kilometres. The first half of the journey the gondolas drive on top of the buildings in the city centre, offering a splendid view over the city, the Bistrita valley and the Ceahlau mountain.

The Telegondola is absolutely nice. The view is good, and the trip takes about 15 minutes. On top of the moutain the view is great, and you can spent at least an hour. The restaurant is rustic, and the staff is friendly. The only problem is parking your car....

The view is amazing from the top, it definitely worth the try, in the evening is more spectacular. A + for the town :)

The "telegondola" from Piatra Neamt is a nice way to see the city from the "sky" and also a nice way to go skiing from the mountains. There is also a nice rustic restaurant with good food and friendly staff and if you want to ski you can rent there all the equipment you need.

Being set in Piatra Neamt, which is a city between 3 mountains, it's the best sightseeing spot you can get to. That is until it takes you up the mountain and you get to see the whole valley and all the way to the Ceahlau Mountain. Tickets are cheap, and when you get on top there is a bar that is designed in a very traditional Romanian fashion where you can get all sorts of local drinks and food. And there is also a gift shop.
