我们总是很有规律地带着孙儿们一起出外活动,我们都很喜欢户外活动。孩子们外出总是很活跃而大人们也总能被美景所深深吸引。这的自然风光犹如艺术珍品一样吸引着我们,有历史的遗迹,比如埃及木乃伊,格拉斯高历史古城的风貌。在地面上你还能发现几家非常别致的咖啡馆,你甚至能很有幸听见一些乐器演奏发出的曼妙声响。地下室有一个咖啡馆和一个饭馆,总是人满为患,因为里面的食物和饮品都是极高上乘的水准。

每次我们来博物馆玩儿都能享受每一分钟,而且每次都能发现一些之前来没有看到过的东西。非常适合家人一起来玩儿,上次我们去的时候孩子们做了非常棒的手工。在午饭时间会有风琴演奏,这个时候可以边吃三明治边放松。这里对所有的人来说都是增长知识的好机会,建议大家来这个免费的非常棒的旅游目的地。

Kelvingrove博物馆的收藏兼容并蓄,这是一个红色砂岩的维多利亚风格的大楼,坐落在格拉斯哥时尚西区。藏品很有趣而且博物馆大楼很值得一看。博物馆的展览安排的很好,又是免费的,所以对游客来说很方便。我和岳父来这个博物馆的主要原因是来看喷火式战斗机。飞机很大很大,站在一层的话能看到底部,站在二楼的话能看到飞机的各个角度。我喜欢喷火式战斗机,也很喜欢令人印象深刻的武器和盔甲。如果你来格拉斯哥旅游的话,我推荐你来这个博物馆。

我上次来格拉斯哥时这个博物馆是关闭的,说是装修,之前没见过是什么样子,可是我这次立刻就被布局吸引了,还有展览,主厅各个展览的并列展示,还有咖啡厅,商店里纪念品的品质,以及精彩的油画,尤其是达利的作品,像我这种狂爱装饰艺术的人最喜欢的还是精致的Rennie MacIntosh房间了。

门票免费是唯一来此博物馆参观的理由,除非这里有你特别想看的,或者你特别喜欢博物馆。公园里的这座博物馆景色非常漂亮。

Visit was not my first or last every time you go a new experience and a visit when exhibitions are on enhances the cafe is good but can be a wait but food is freshly cooked so worth waiting

So much to see, both art and artefacts. Cafe etc. Organ recitals at 1pm weekdays (3pm Sunday). Something for all especially when it's raining - and it's free

Allow plenty of time for your visit or sample over repeated visits. I liked the friendliness,grandeur and eclectic mix of exhibits in this wondrous building which itself is to be admired. From the fascinating hanging heads installation to the magnificent Art collection;the traditional collection of taxidermy to ancient Eygpt this museum has something for everyone. Well done Glasgow for free entry and donations policy and making all feel welcome to enjoy whatever age!

A million things to see. Great attraction for Glasgow....and its free - donations always welcome though :) Hadn't been since I was school but really enjoyed it. Loved the floating heads.

I took my children to The Art Gallery from when they were little. I have to say I've been disappointed following the "modernisation" of the gallery - it was such a cluttered place with fascinating memorabilia from all around the world.Once modernised, much of the exhibits were removed....I wonder where they are now? However it remains a very beautiful building with a lovely ambience in summer when the are outside is crowded with tourists and locals. Did you know that it was built the wrong way round? The front looking on to the main road is actually the back of the building so don't forget to walk all around the outside.As well as Glasgow Museum caefs usually being great for snacks, there are also lots of lovely cafes and restaurants in the vicinity of the gallery. Enjoy!

One of those 'museums of everything' that lacks focus, with stuff from dinosaurs to planes to paintings and various bits and bobs of modern art....a bit exhausting! However there are a few interesting pieces, including some amazing Impressionist and other famous paintings, and the building itself is amazing inside (and out)

What can I say about the Kelvingrove- I had a spare hour or two one Saturday after setting up a trade event at the SECC, my hotel was a couple of roads away so I had a short walk.... I wish I'd had longer as it's one of the most interesting museums I'd ever visited and I only managed to see less than a few rooms!!!

Enjoyed my first visit to kelvingrove a few years ago and was fortunate that it coincided with the organ recital which was good. I want back recently though and found it a little tired. Needs to update the interactive activities for children.The thing I love the most is the building. Its just beautiful!

free entry, great exhibitions, good cafe. Easy to reach on the Subway but for good walkers equally easy to walk back to town

I love everything about this museum & gallery from the building itself to the contents. The private exhibitions and the gift shop. The range and diversity of the displays and the relaxed atmosphere - so different to many stuffy museums. I will never tire of revisiting...
