My family and I go every September and have never been disappointed. the track is great !! The only bad thing is when the weather doesn't cooperate.

I don't have any complaints about the actual physical features of the speedway, it is very nice, and I have had some very nice experiences here. Here is the 1 issue I have, and I think it is pretty bad. I couple years ago, my ex-husband and I went to the races for a Friday evening race. He drove with a friend earlier, and I drove with my friend there a couple hours later. My husband had a kidney transplant a couple weeks for this outing. A little before the race started he called me to say he was peeing blood. He was by the entrance of the speedway. I met him there and he was talking to the medical staff. They were going to call an ambulance, but we were told by Northwestern hospital to only bring him back to Northwestern if he had any issues. We didn't see the point in having an ambulance take him to a local hospital, when I'd need to take him to Northwestern anyway. Also, we had 2 vehicles there, and needed to get them both out of there. We asked if they could take us on a golf cart to his car, since I didn't know where he was parked. It is a long way to walk to where the cars are parked, expecially if you are ill. They said they could not get a golf cart for him, since it was a certain amount of time before the race starts. Wait...what???? This is a medical emergency and what does the golf carts have to do with the start of the race? My ex-husband is a man with alot of pride, and although I stood there arguing with them, he said nevermind, we will just walk. It was very hot out and a long walk, and he could have had a worse medical issue. I was furious with this place, and planned to write them a letter, letting them know my disguist with them. I never did, my ex-husband said to just let it go, so I did. But, this all left a bad taste in my mouth, and I refuse to go there anymore.

I'm a long-time student of racing schools. Of the eleven racing and off-road schools I've attended, some more than once, Rusty Wallace's was operated in the most efficient manner. I would recommend it to anyone who would appreciate a well-taught session on how to drive a stock car along with all the safety situations to avoid, with the sole purpose to get you as much speed as you like safely. The personnel were dedicated, courteous, knowledgeable...guess they're all racers! My spotter was just as excited as I was as I drove into turn 1 a little hot. Great Time!!

This past weekend 13 of my family members took my dad to the joliet speedway for the RWDE to celebrate his 80th birthday. Most of my family had a 7 hour drive to get to the speedway. After a major scare of our session being cancelled due to weather issues, we drove to the facility and were so overwhelmed with the kindness and compassion the staff showed to make my dads bucket list to have 1 less item. Especially Jennifer and and the class instructor!!! I truly cannot say enough about the customer service provided by Jennifer. A kind kind professional. She gave us the memory of a lifetime!

We've gone for the last few years and always have a good time. The place is surprisingly clean especially inside the track. The grounds aren't bad but if it's rained the night before don't park in the grass without 4 wheel drive. The portapotties are actually tolerable even on the second day. You can bring a soft sided six pack cooler in with snacks and non-glass beverage containers. Drinks and food in the track are not cheap and the lines are long. The site lines are good throughout the stands, I don't think there is a blocked view anywhere. The worse thing about this place is the lack of entrances/exits out of the track, it all leads back to the same major roads. Don't plan on strolling in at the last minute and making it on time. Getting out is no picnic either, but if you plan for it doesn't have to be a deal breaker. We find a local hotel to stay at to minimize the commute, plenty within a 20 mile radius that are reasonably priced. Try it you'll like it!

Not a big fan of NASCAR but had a great time again when I went with my sister and a few friends. Live events are always much better than watching it on the TV. Anyhow, go early so you can walk around and enjoy all the sites with the different trailers set up for the drivers and different contests that are offered before you actually go into the racetrack. You can always find a good deal, if you look, on fan gear!!!Bathrooms can be busy in the central areas, but there are a ton of Porta-Potties around if there is an emergency. You can bring in your own alcohol. Coolers have to fit under your seat - bring soft-sided coolers to be on the safe side. Last year, anyone with plastic dividers in their coolers had to dump their drinks and ice out and then repack. This year, they let all little coolers go as long as they would fit under the seats. We met many people who did not know you could bring your own alcohol. It saves a lot of $s. Rum runners were $9/drink, so figure a $10 bill with every drink if you include a tip. Not sure what beer was since the hubby brought his own. :)Food is what is to be expected at this type of venue (burgers, cheese steak, turkey legs, pretzels, funnel cakes, etc.). You will pay a lot though. Again, save a few dollars by tail-gating ahead of time and/or bringing some snacks in.Overall, we love coming here. The fun and excitement are great! Even if you think it is not your thing from watching it on TV, come experience it. It is amazing, BUT BRING EAR PLUGS!! :)

We found the facility to be excellent in every way. The shuttle services were good, and I am glad they were available, as the place is huge. There were two things that bothered me. The only tickets available started at $120. I think that's a bit pricey for an event that lasts for three hours. The other thing to be prepared for if you've never been at a NASCAR event is the noise. Unbelievable, and although thrilling for the first 10 minutes, it get's to be a bit much. Bucket list is complete and I probably won't go back. Will watch the finishes on TV

View of the track is good from all seats. Need to work on getting people in to the track. Traffic was backed up a mile waiting to get off of I-80.Pretty strict on what you can bring in compared to other tracks.

NACAR fans--What can we say? A bad day at the track is better than a good day at work!! Well, it wasn't a bad day at the track at all. We stayed in Glen Ellyn IL which is about 40 min.from the track. We left the hotel at 9 am. That being said, it took us two hours sitting in race traffic to get into the parking lot. There were lots of people directing traffic but still slow going. We were handicap parking and they were very good at getting us in and as close as was available. There were port-a-potties everywhere and that's important when you've been sitting in traffic 2 hours. Shuttles were available to get you to track gates. We walked in. Driver merchandise trailers are located up close to the track. After the race we were ready to accept a ride back to our car. That was very well organized at the information booth. They took names, how many and where you needed to go.The only improvement I could have asked for is to have more benches around the area. A lot of these fans are older or disabled and can't stand for that long. Most of the tracks we have been to, do not provide enough seating outside the track in public areas. Even if we're older, we still love to go to the races. It was about 45 min wait till crowds got out and carts could move safely and we were driven out exactly where we need to go. Getting out went pretty quickly but it does take awhile so patience is needed. So visit Chicagoland, it's a great NASCAR experience.

Great speedway. Easy access to all services. Some staff leave a bit to be desired but... Great day in all! Easy in and out also!

This facility is pretty good but has it's flaws. For one, the food and beverage lines were very long. We've been to the track four times and this was the worst I've ever seen it. Also, the restroom lines were constantly long during Sunday's race; this has been a problem since the track opened. The worst experience however, was the movement of vehicles after the race. Not sure why the changed the route patterns, but we were forced to go south, then drive west to I-55 to eventually get onto I-80. In previous years they didn't do this. Positives: The personnel at the track are great; we had the opportunity to meet the track president who is quite cordial and a very good representative for the track. Also, my son won a couple of pit passes and that made our weekend. There is plenty to do before the race and the whole atmosphere is very family friendly.

Have been coming hear since 2001. I always have a great time and the races are great to. But leaving has to be better.

Second year visiting here. Love it every time. Very family friendly. Wasn't a huge fan of them removing some of the seating. But can understand why, you can see the whole track now, no matter where you sit in the stands. Love some of the vendors, they were all very nice.

Love coming to the races here. This was our 3rd year coming to the Chase Race. Parking is easy, but leaving is another story. Need to have a better exit plan. Food is not prepared the same on each floor. Need to check their food vendors.
