honora winery & vineyard

Stopped by for a wine tasting -- many of their wines were sold out ( a good sign I thought ) so they offered the tasting for free. There were four wines available for sale (all reds), I enjoyed them all, they were all distinct. The pinot noir for my taste stood out, it had some spice and a hint of molasses at the end. Thought this wine would do well with my cigars and yes it does very well. The people working there were helpful and they made up a delightful tray of gourmet cheeses, fruit, crackers, and thinly sliced sausages that we took outside with a glass of wine and enjoyed sitting in a gazebo next to a water fountain. The whole setting was beautiful -- a creek, a pond, picnic tables and a beautiful sunny day with good friends. We all had a great experience. Thumbs up to Honora !!!

My fiance and I are considering the vineyard for our wedding. We visited and it's incredibly gorgeous! We also checked out the winery's store in the town nearby and did a tasting...the wines were very good. Brad has been super helpful, and if we decide to have our wedding there I know it would be incredible! (Just an FYI the only hesitation we have is how far it is from our home and where our guests live)

Stopped at the tasting room when they opened on my drive up to northern VT. Recieved amazing service and purchased some great wine, fantastic cheese, and fun gifts!

Great wine, great staff, beautiful scenery! A must see.
