This locally owned company makes baskets that rival the quality of better known "Longaberger".I visit this area of Ohio every summer. I was always curious about the Berlin Fruit Box company. Yes, they make wooden baskets that we've all seen full of produce at the greengrocers. They also make a selection of very high quality, handmade baskets that serve other purposes. I bought two on my visit. It's a working factory; one of the owners took me on a tour. Is this a destination attraction? No. Is it a pleasant find if you're in the area. Most definitely, yes.
