This place has a great menu and its right on Hermosa Beach. Good selection of food and drinks for all.

Hennessey's Tavern is right on Hermosa Beach near the pier. If you can sit on the top floor, do it! It is open-air and has a great view of the beach and sunset! We visited around 5:00pm and happy hour had just started. We got 2 drinks and 3 appetizers- $27 total! If you plan on watching sunset from the pier, look up the time of sunset and plan accordingly! The sun sets extremely fast!

How can you go wrong with Irish Coffee and huge omlet. Went for breakfast and stayed for a couple of coffees and a $4 Bloody Mary that was oustanding. Would highly recommend if you want to enjoy any morning with a smile.

Great outside seating area on the corner of Pier Ave and the Strand. Food items are pretty good and the staff is excellent. Good for breakfast or lunch while enjoying the beauty of Hermosa Beach.

Go here for a few drinks and a low key time. Best time to hit it up is during the week around 9-10pm. Feel the ocean breeze and have a pint...thats about all its go going, but hey its not too shabby.

Great views. Nice and quiet when we were there. My partner had a good time reminiscing on his college days back in the 90's.

I can not get enough of the South Bay beach vibe, so I continue to come here for all and/or no occasions!!! Mon-Fri a.m. buy one breakfast entree and get one free. Go on.... every Tues, buy one Burger entree and get one free. Go on... every Sat and Sun morning, their XLNT Bloody Mary's (your server prepared fresh and the best) are only $4.00. Go on.... At 9:00 a.m. daily, the top of the roof with breathtaking views and trippy vibe becomes a reality (walk up the non-moving stairs)! Go on..... sign up for their email promotions, and enjoy a free entree on Thursday, the week of your birthday. The high energy servers thrive on a higher altitude, so tip generously!!!btw, don't wait for any of the above reasons to dine and drink here, bring your frozen smile, solo or with friends or family, and totally immerse yourself and enjoy the beach vibe. Beachers, bring your partner here for their Bloody Mary's or whatever libations is your forte, and then enjoy your much deserved thank you afterglow!!!! Yeah! That's what I am talking about... and that's why I am here. You hostelers from everywhere staying almost next door, you are the funness that lights this joint!

We visited here twice during our stay in Hermosa Beach. The first visit was for a quick lunch. We enjoyed our meal and service. The second visit was for "Irish Coffe" which was geat and made better buy a personable bar tender. We loved it.
