We stopped at this farm produce market on the way back from Deception Pass on Whidbey Island. It is actually located just outside of Oak Harbor, on the way to Deception Pass. The first thing that we noticed, when we arrived at the market, was the strong and pleasant smell of waffle cone for ice cream. The ice cream, not sure if it was homemade, was one of the best I have tasted. Combined with the waffle cone, which was still warm, the ice cream cone made a wonderful snack after hikes at the Deception Pass Park. We also do some u-pick raspberries. We found out that to find the best fruit. You have to go to the back of the assigned patches and look for larger concentrations, because many of the front areas usually have been picked over. The raspberries were at a good price and very sweet. There were also other produce offered by the market at reasonable prices. Just another note, there was also a u-pick blueberries farm right next to the market. You have to get back on the highway to get to it. It also offered very sweet blueberries at a very reasonable price.
