I am all three things: FUN, Safety, & Good Folks. And, the White Salmon River guided by the amazing folks from All Adventures Rafting was nothing but CRAZY FUN and a good feeling that being safe and smart was always a priority. The owners, Heather & Derek, and all the guides -since I have been back every year, I think I've gone down the river with all of them- are sincerely nice, down-to-earth people. They were wonderfully in tune with the abilities and skills of everyone in the boat at all times and make it look and feel like this wild river is easy-peezy. I would definitely recommend this company and this river to anyone who is down for adventure!

We took a trip with the office in August 2014. A large family was also rafting with us with kids of a variety of ages so we were all divided over 3 boats. I experienced the river with 2 different guides. The guides were awesome about explaining things, seeing where the current group was at and calling shots accordingly. We watched some other guides taking groups over Hussum Falls when it appeared the rafters could barely handle rafting in calming water...quite scary to watch...and I was very thankful that our guides made decisions based on the strength of the rowers. It was a great experience!

I've lived right next to the White Salmon for a couple years now, so I finally decided to raft it. All Adventures was awesome - they gave us our safety talk first, gear second, so we didn't have to sit and swelter in our wetsuits. They talked us through everything with a serious yet entertaining demonstration of safety rules. Then we hit the river! I was with just two friends, so they put us in a boat with two other people. Our guide, Sandy, was awesome - obviously an experienced rafter, but also knowledgeable about the river. All Adventures is as concerned about the health of the river as they are about the safety of the rafters - and that means a lot, as a local. We had a total blast on the beautiful river, then Sandy let us decide if we wanted to do the falls. My two friends and I decided to give it a go, and Sandy was very thorough in what we needed to do. We practiced a bunch and got really pumped after watching the other boat in our group go over perfectly. Sadly, we ended up swimming - but the other guides pulled us right out! I highly recommend rafting the White Salmon if you're in the area - it's such a gorgeous river - and I highly recommend going with the awesome folks at All Adventures. DO IT!

Once you get to the bottom of the trail, and are looking at the actual rapid, continue to tell yourself to remain calm. All is well. I say this because the first rapid is a doozy! Thankfully, you are rafting with an experienced guide with All Adventures Rafting. Yes, you will paddle. Yes, you will get wet. Yes, you will survive. In fact, at the end of this first immersion into the river, you will have a HUGE smile on your face. Your journey of fun and child-like joy has only just begun.I have done many rafting trips in Colorado and in the Pacific Northwest. I can confidently say that All Adventures Rafting is the BEST rafting company I have every had the pleasure of working with. We made a day trip from Eastern Washington and had a wonderful time with All Adventures! The coordination of details before we left was terrific, and we were met with friendly smiles upon our arrival. We were impressed with the owners and guides and their attention to safety while still making everything fun. The river has virtually no floating/down time, so it was constant action with great commentary. All but our youngest kids took the optional waterfall, and all the rehearsing took out the alarm and just made it a fun and exciting part of the trip. They don't take undue risks, and we knew we were in good hands and well prepared for the best and worst case scenarios. Our whole family, ages 9 and up, had a wonderful time on a beautiful, exciting river, and we look forward to doing it again!

Recently went on two trips with all adventures. It was a great experience. The river itself is unique, a lava tube with almost continuous class III and IV rapids for more than the first half of the trip, culminating in a class V waterfall. (The waterfall is optional, and the guides do a great job of determining whether the water conditions and skill of the paddlers make it safe to run). We saw some other companies make some bad calls. The scenery is amazing and the river has abundant bird life. Rick and Ryan are superb guides and Derek the owner puts the guests enjoyment and safety first. I would definitely see this section of the white dsalmon if in the area. And you'll have a great time if you go with All Adventures. .

My family and I were fortunate enough to go white water rafting with All Adventures Rafting during the last week of July. We had a blast! The whole crew was very friendly and professional. They started the trip by giving us a safety talk and outfitting us with helmets, lifejackets, paddles, and wet suits. That water is COLD so I was very grateful for the wet suit! All of the guides were very knowledgeable about the river and the surrounding area and were able to point out fun points of interest along the river during our trip. The river was stunning and of course we had a blast going through the rapids. I would highly recommend All Adventures Rafting to anyone coming to the area. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back!

My son just got home from attending college in China, said he wanted to do a road trip up the west coast to see the Redwoods and the Columbia River Gorge. I said to him what about doing a rafting trip. We picked All Adventures Rafting because of the reviews online. We went on July 15, 2014, when we arrived at the pick up point we were met by Derrick and Ryan, I said to them where are the other rafters they said we were the only ones. Both Derrick and Ryan said lets get some wet suits sized and we'll be on our way to the put in point. As we drove up river they filled us in on how the trip would play out explaining how we would run the various rapids. I asked if they minded going out with only two of us they both kept telling us that it was no problem. So we ended up with the whole raft to ourselves.Ryan was the guide in the boat with Derrick in the kayak, as we made our down the river Ryan pointed out various points of interest, we stopped at a point where my son jumped off a cliff into the 40 degree water. Derrick acted as the safety person in the kayak. We were on the river for just over two hours and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it, Ryan had told us if we came up in late May or early June the river would be faster and the rapids a little more quick to run. If you are planning on rafting the White Salmon in Washington we'd highly recommend using All Adventures Rafting both Derrick and Ryan were very professional and personable. The next time I come up to the Pacific Northwest it'll be in early June so I can be sure to go rafting with them again.Thanks for great time,Barry

We took a tour with All Adventures today on the White Salmon River. Rick (James) was our guide and he was fantastic - he has rated the White Salmon 500+ times and definitely knows the river. Made us feel very safe yet put us through some awesome rapids!Will be back again for sure!!

Admittedly I haven't done too many rafting trips. However this company whose site if off the main road (as opposed to other commercial ones right on the main road) ran a great friendly tour. Our guide Derick was amazing and was informative, social, and calming so that we could really just enjoy our time on the river. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

We rafted a White Salmon River run in late June.All Adventures Rafting easy to find. I adored how the friendly guide directed our car to park. Through every step the staff made us smile and laugh. They were always positive and made me feel very safe having our 8 year old along for the ride. They had wet-suits that fit everyone in the group, from the 8 year old girl to the hefty construction workers, I fall somewhere in between those two groups and I'll admit that the wet-suit was tight and unflattering but after getting splashed with a wave in the river I was sure happy to have it.Our guide was Ryan, he was full of river factoids and was happy to point out scenic things when we weren't paddling. Speaking of paddling, prepare to get a work out, now this is not intense long technical rapids but it was active enough where I felt exhilarated and active. The white salmon is a shady river so even though it was a scorching day I felt wonderfully cool down on the water. In fact I wish I'd made my daughter take them up on their offer of a waterproof windbreaker jacket to keep her arms warm. Like I said it was a scorcher and she didn't think she'd need it.Ryan had us as organized as a synchronized swimming team at the Olympics! He kept the attitude fun, but very focused on being safe. We paddled into shore 8 miles after launch happy and tired and ready for a beer.This was some of the most fun I've had in years. I've already talked to some other friends about coming back this summer.** Now that you had you workout you can reward yourself at the brew pub in White Salmon "Everybody's' brewing" (review to follow).

I have to admit, I am an extremely anxious person - agreeing to even go white water rafting with my friends is a complete betrayal to my character. I was experiencing an increasingly full-blown panic attack as we arrived, and started putting on our gear. I was convinced this was my last day on earth. That IMMEDIATELY changed once we got in the raft and started going. Once we hit our first rapid, and I realized we were in the hands of an experienced, confident, and friendly guide (MJ), I started having the best day of my life! The guides do SO much work for you, and you don't even realize it because they are in the back. The entire time, MJ was very encouraging and fun, and it was neat learning all about the area during our down time. By the end of the trip, my arms were sore from rowing and my cheeks were sore from smiling and I wanted to do it again. Thanks guys!

I have been rafting with All Adventures for years. One of the reasons I keep coming back is Karen. She welcomes me with open arms every time and always remembers my name !!!! All of the guides are knowledgeable and super fun !! They have smiles on their faces from the moment you show up to the sad time when you must say goodbye. The White Salmon is a beautiful river with lots of great rapids including Husum Falls. The falls may not always be open, but the rafting is five - star every time!! I have recommended this company to several friends and they have had just as great of a time as myself. I will be back for sure !!!

I have rafted with All Adventures several times over the past few years and always have a great time. The guides are all very knowledgable about the river and surrounding area and share a lot of great information with the rafters. Great team of people that make every trip fun and fresh.

I was a little hesitant about white water rafting after seeing some pictures of the Salmon River however everything about this trip and All Adventures was awesome! I can't talk highly enough of our guide MJ and the rest of the team - they take safety seriously but are there to make sure you have a great time as well. The river is so beautiful, even on our rainy morning. Expect cold water and lots of fun!
