Mark Ryan makes really delicious red wines. The grapes are from Red Mountain, which means something to people who know Washington state wines. Reviews of many of his wines are constantly in the 90's. The tasting room is easy to find. Bring your own food if you find that helpful when tasting wine. The fee for your tasting will be credited to your purchase of wines. On beautiful sunny weekends the tasting room can become very busy so keep that in mind when you plan your visit.

Mark Ryan produces big red blends and other great red wines. A popular winemaker and fairly well known in the area. Wood boxed wines are available as well as magnum bottles of different sizes. Large tasting room, pleasant staff.

We came to the Seattle area to visit our children who have moved there and stayed in Bothell. The hotel had brochures for the Woodinville wineries tasting rooms, so we had the shuttle driver drop us there for the afternoon. I had no idea, how good Washington State red wine was until we hit several of the tasting rooms, but Mark Ryan was the bomb! Yes, I said it, THE BOMB! Compared to Napa and Sonoma, for the quality, taste and price, I would choose Woodinville every time and hope to one day visit Walla Walla and some of the eastern Washington wine regions where the vineyards are. We had 5 generous tastes, which I believe was $5. Server was knowledgeable and fun. We bought the Numbskull Red, which was the second cheapest bottle and it was outstanding. If you make a purchase, they comp your tasting, which was the case in most of the tasting rooms. I will definitely be back.

Mark Ryan does wine right and when you add a great staff to it your wine tasting experience is going to be great! New to wine or a "wino" you will be happy you stopped.

Maybe the server was having a bad day, but I wasn't impressed with her knowledge of the wine or her customer service. Granted, she was the only pourer and there were a few people in the room, but I was expecting more considering the good things I'd heard about the wine. Have to say it soured my experience .

This is our 3rd trip to the Woodinville area and our first trip to Mark Ryan. Easily our favorite stop this trip. We bought a bottle of the Numb Skull Syrah and their Viognier. Our friends highly recommended this place and it was well worth the trip.

This winery produces a limited number of wines from the Red Mountain region in Washington State. The tasting room is worth a visit. Some of the wines are 90+ point wine enthusiasts finds. If you taste them you will likely buy some. Enjoy!

It is interesting that there are many tasting rooms in the small shopping areas in the Woodinville Warehouse Winery District. This one had a decent sized room where you could belly up to the bar or sit around one of two tables. The décor was nice. Sasha was the server, who did a ice job of explaining the wines we tasted. There were no bad wines here, we liked them all and bought a bottle to bring home. The only down side is no crackers, no snacks, no ability to buy some food. Next time we will bring something with us. It is worth the visit. If you buy a bottle, the tasting fee
