gunfighters wax museum

It has definitely seen better days, at least the wax figures have, but my girls loved it. It was worth the stop, but not something you would want to go to over and over again. It is upstairs from the Teachers Hall of Fame. The Halloween room was a huge hit with my children.

We stopped here actually in Aug. 2013 on the last day of our weekend trip for the rodeo. We enjoyed the wax statues. I loved the Halloween like room the best. My husband enjoyed the Gunsmoke characters.

This is located upstairs from the Teachers Hall of Fame. They are working to improve it with the use of technology like the Teachers Hall of Fame.

The Wax figures were in very poor condition. And some of them looked the same. Not all of the areas had anything. Kind of disappointed. Wouldn't have paid the $5 per person to see it.

The wax statues were not too great but the historical information about the gunfighters was very interesting. The person at the desk told us some very fascinating stories about people connected to Dodge City.

My elderly parent took the train from Chicago. Arriving very early am, took the am tour. Slept through most of it and was very discouraged about not having seen many items. The next day, they took the receipts in and explained the situation and he was allowed to go back through again. Mom says that all the workers were very nice and accommodating. Thank you for making their trip memorable.

Kind of a cool stop, not a "must do" but okay none the less. I mean, it is Dodge, so there aren't that many awesome things to do aside from go to the bar. A bit of it was hokey, but overall it was worth the time.

Very interesting history and the settings are well done. The statues are not very good wax figurines, but it's not costly ($5 ea) to see and the amount of historical information supplied is well worth the visit.

Sorry, but this place looks like it is full of department store manicans, not wax figures.

Went by myself wasn't that pleased. It scared the heck out of me because I watched that one movie with Paris Hilton!!!!:)
