Come on over, get out of the house, move your body and get some fresh air, what is not to like. Trails , trails everywhere. One of my favorite places in Lebanon county.

This is a great park for local bouldering options and some hiking in hilly deciduous forest. There are some displays of PA land-use heritage. There is a nature center with some great hands-on learning opportunities. Our kids (7,10) both enjoyed the Jr. Naturalist Program this year! It is a great way for kids to learn about the outdoors.

We did a nice walk through some of the park, but we mainly went on a Tuesday afternoon to have to tower to ourselves. And we did for almost an hour! We sat in the sun and took in the view. The views are wonderful from the "birdcage" at the top. It's a ladder climb up and down the tower. (No stairs)

Wonderful place to hike in the mountains and it is near Mt. Gretna which is a beautiful area with cottages, a lake for swimming, places to eat and some activities.

Condescending environmentalists and aggressive tree hungers make this park an unpleasant place to visit. Parks are for enjoying in ones own personal way. The park isn't in Lebanon. It's behind mount gretna. I'd rather spend the day in a state park or national park without enviro-snarks judging every visitor and user. I've lived here 18 years and not once have I been asked by family friends or neighbors to go here.

We discovered this park this summer while travelling in the area. We had wanted to come here to do some geocaching since there are some highly rated caches placed here. While walking the trails, we saw a number of others enjoying the park; hiking, biking and bouldering. When we got back to the environmental center (which has a very cool indoor bee hive) we saw a flyer for a free bouldering class coming up in September. Being as our girls are into rock climbing we were interested and so we made a special trip back to attend it. The guides did a great job and were very patient with our 8yo, helping her work on some of the skills that were new to her.Their website has a number of other fun sounding activities scheduled on it that I wish we were closer in order to do more of them.They also have an observation tower there that looks cool. Hopefully we can check it out when we go back next month.
