palmyra village park

The Palmyra Village Park is another one that belongs on the "remember to miss" list. There is really very little to do here, unless you provide the entertainment yourself. A single bandstand, along with a couple of old historic guns, are arranged in the middle of the park, along with a few tired-looking (and slightly unstable) jungle gyms for the kids. It might be a decent place in the summer to bring a lunch to eat under the trees, but there are little or no facilities here to conduct any major function, or any athletic events of any kinds, or even use the bathroom.I would not plan a visit to this park for any special reason at all. There are much nicer parks to visit and enjoy within a few miles distance.
