In my humble opinion this place is great! I'm not American, I came to philly to study and I felt in love of this city! But every single time I enter to this building and I have the chance to watch the exhibition and see the tough journey of this great nation from the beginning to present and I understand why this words are so powerful "We The People". They show how it feels be seated in Congress chair and hear the voice of president of the United States of America! Even you can simulated a vote for president or for other things. The building is located in the independence national park. The national constitution center share the park with the independence hall, the liberty bell center the first bank of USA. Highly recommended visit this place is amazing and you can learn so much about American history and know more about how work the government.

Since they always have new exhibits I joined the museum and have been a member for two years. I don't know why (fundraising I assume) but I was eamiled an invitation from the museum for a special viewing of Creating Camelot: The Kennedy Photography of Jacque Lowe exhibit. Since I am a Kennedyfile I jumped at it and was very impressed with the exhibit and lovely light fare they had for those that reserved the event. I have never been disappointed with any of my visits to this museum. It is a must do ( at least once though you'll find that once is not enough).

What a great place to delve into the history of our republic. The building is beautiful and their is a coat room, so you can walk around comfortably. The production, Freedom Rising was informative and moving. After the production, you come out on the second floor to view the exhibits, some of which are interactive. Don't forget to take the oath of office and the declaration of independence. The signer's hall is a great place to take pictures and see the declaration signer's height and stature. Walking the grand hall overlook flags was also very informative. A must see for young and old alike.

We visited the National Constitution Center to see Creating Camelot: The Kennedy Photography of Jacque Lowe exhibit. They are running a Winter sale with admission only $10 per adult and we expected to be there about an hour. Admission includes the presentation Freedom Rising, the interactive We the People exhibition and Signer's Hall. We enjoyed every bit of what we saw. I only wish we could have stayed longer and taken in more of what this beautiful building had to offer.

I have lived in the area 5 years, take all my visitors here, and never tire of our history. The docents are fun & informative, the cobblestone streets amazing, and patriotism abounds.

The multi media entrance gets you hooked at the very start of your trip. Lots of hands on for kids and history refreshers for adults. Special exhibits are always engaging, and cover known history events with new perspectives. Check Groupon for discount pricing

I live near Philadelphia and have been to the National Constitution Center multiple times. Every time I go, I am moved by the live performance of Freedom Rising. To me, it is the best explanation of what our Constitution is all about that I have ever seen. The exhibits in the museum on each article and each amendment of the Constitution are incredibly informative. You cannot do all of this in one visit. See Freedom Rising. Then walk around at your own pace through the exhibits, stopping when one peaks your interest. Spend some time there and then move on. Before you leave be sure to stop at Signers' Hall - with life size bronze statutes of 42 of our Founding Fathers gathered as if debating the provisions in the Constitution. You and your children will learn a lot just by looking at the height of the delegates (yes, Washington is tall and powerful looking), the professions of the delegates (yes, lawyers predominate, as we might expect) and the age of the delegates (amazingly young). Gain a new perspective on how well read our forefathers were 250 years ago.

I spent a couple of hours here. There is a very dramatic live 20 minute show that was excellent and moving and you could spend an hour or two at the exhibits that surround the theater if you have an interest in the country's history and the law. There is also a feeling of pride looking at the historic documents - bill of rights, handwritten Gettyburg's address. enjoyed it on a cold afternoon. Only surprise is there is an admission ($10), which is unusual for these historic national sites....But worth it.

This has various exhibits and activities for all ages. Loved the hall where you can mingle with 42 life-sized bronze statues, our Founding Fathers. You can actually sign the Constitution!

This attraction is wonderful. The "movie" was fantastic, impactful and rich with emotion. Inexpensive and worth the visit. It was not over run with kids and kept us entertained. Across the courtyard is the Visitors center and Liberty Bell. We went in January and admission was discounted.

When friends or family come to town we usually stop at the National Constitution Center. Even after 4 visits I still enjoy the exhibits and playing with all of the different features. It's a great place for any history buff or politics nerd!

We visited this museum last month (January 2105). We were two of 8 people in the theatre! I don't know if visitors are familiar with this museum but it was one of the finest we have visited. The live actor giving the introduction program was excellent! I have never had that experience! The history of the Constitution is in a circle around the museum. The pavilion with life size statues of the signers of the Constitution was also very interesting. Take a few hours to tour this site--it's well worth it!

Being an Englishman in the birth place of modern America, I had the joy of being taken here by an Australian. In his words "everyone in America should visit this place". I have to agree. You are treated to a lesson of where you came from and the ideas behind the laws. Yes I wanted to visit the steps where Rocky ran, yes I wanted to visit the home of The Roots, Jill Scott and Jazzy Jeff but we all need some extra culture every now and again. Visit the Museum and surrounding buildings. You'll be amazed at the plethora of history. Why not finish it off with that other iconic Philly staple, a Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Enjoy.

Every citizen should make it a point to visit this museum while in Philadelphia. It's a beautiful facility and be sure to view the film, "We the People". Being from DC, I'm used to free museums but there is an entrance cost here but it's still worth the experience in this great/historic city.

Much more than I bargained for when we went to this building! Basically a wide circle full of history of the USA. Be sure to catch FREEDOM CALLING before exploring the rest of the building. For sure don't miss it!The original constitution is kept in the back with a security guard, whose job it basically is to tell people not to lean on the glass. Still, very good!
