We just held my daughter's wedding reception there. With the exception of Lindsey, the father and son were rude to myself and some of the guests by not allowing us to use chairs (we had guests in there 80's and 90's) because they wanted to have seating for "other patrons"! Only 4 other patrons came in in the 5 hour timespan! They even told some of the guests who went to the bar to eat to move! He had an opportunity to gain 40 new patrons...if he did not want to accommodate us and our guests, we could have gone down the street to the Rochester Brewery. After being treated so rudely after spending over $600, I wished I has taken my business elsewhere!

We live in the area and had never been to Fieldstone Winery. Some people tell us it is good, some say not. I like to be my own judge. So, my wife and I went here with a friend to check it out. Here is my opinion:The atmosphere was good and the place was very clean. The staff was very friendly, and the pours were reasonably priced. Most of the wines are made from kits, some are made from grapes. I do know the difference. Most of the urban wineries make kit wines and they are good to excellent. Do not tell me that all your wines are made from grapes crushed at your facility when they are not. That is just being outright dishonest. With that said, I decided to try a wine that I know does not come from a kit. It was a Bordeaux blend and was just awful. Who in there right mind would pay the menu price of $20 per bottle? I cannot speak for the other wines they made from grapes. Maybe they are good. We did not stick around to find out. We left a nice tip for what we consumed and went home to enjoy a nice bottle of Gewurtztraminer from Hook & Ladder (Sonoma).

Fieldstone have a different concept, part cellar tasting, part casual wine bar - in the middle of downtown Rochester. Drop in and sample a flight of wines, or buy by the glass and you can add a cheese board to go with the wine. Then buy some bottles to take homeEnjoy coming here for a few wines before going to dinner at a local restaurant.Large variety of wines, well priced.

This is our second year to make our own batch with our family! Great fun tasting the wonderful wines and fun to get together with family and friends!

Wine slushie is amazing! Great atmosphere, great location. Tripadvisor is making me write more. I don't have anything else to say. La la la.

A nice place to sample local wines and relax while people-watching on Main St. I've been here a few times, and will go back.

First visit. Pleasantly surprised the wine is made locally. Would have been nice to get more coaching and education on their wines and processes. We live local and will be back.

Very nice. Sample taste test their wines. My favorite white is Mi Traminette. If walking around town after dining or shopping in the downtown area, do stop in.

We used a Travelzoo voucher here. We had the wine tasting and cheese plate. The cheese plate was a bargain! We tasted several wines and wound up buying a case. We live in the area and have been here before but not for many years. We loved Rachel. She really did a great job with the wines and was very friendly.

I researched this winery on the internet and it appeared it was a working winery that you could tour, but when we got there it was a Art Gallery/Fieldstone Winery shop. I was a little disappointed it wasn't the actual winery. But, the wines we tasted were really good. We tried Strawberry Traminer, Black Raspberry Merlot, White Ice Wine and Pomegranate Zinfandel. They were all very good! You could pick 2 wines to try for FREE!Needless to say, I was a little disappointed with not the actual winery, but I bought Six Bottles of Wine so It was a very good day :)Thank you!

...the wine is not very good. And I'm sorry to say that because I would really like there to be a good winery in town! The atmosphere is nice, the service is good, the place is appropriately decorated for a winery feel, but you can purchase much much better tasting wine at the grocery store for less than $10. In fact, some of the wines taste as though they have been mislabeled. I would say that the cheese plate was delicious and interesting. Just, don't go here if you like to drink red wine. Go to Fieldstone if you are looking for fun fruit combination "wines" and a place to relax with adult friends that is not a bar.

We have been going to Fieldstone Winery since it opened. We always have excellent service. Love thier wines. Tasting makes it easy to choose what you would like to purchase. I used the was given the Living Social certificate as a thank you gift. We had a great time. It was not a bait and switch - they had wonderful results from Living Social - overwhelming. I go there often and always love the wine.

We spent a few hours in this nicely decorated Main Street winery one afternoon and I enjoyed the fruit wines in particular, the black cherry, pomegranate and blackberry ones were all delicious. The winery was setting up for a cookery demonstration so we moved on before this started, however we could have stayed a good while longer trying even more of the wine list. I would have appreciated the alcohol content being shown on the wine list, it may not vary much but I was just curious regarding how the different wines compared in alcoholic strength. A very nice place to wile away an afternoon or two.
