This is a must go. The local artist talent is amazing. Fibers, gourds, paintings, sculptures of various mediums with so much to choose from to fit any budget. You won't be sorry that you spent time in CAL. Kudos to all of the talented artists that show their art.

Creative exhibit titles draw you in. Always something fun and interesting going on! Wonderful community involvement. Artistsof all skill levels are encouraged to participate. Classes for all ages. Columbia Art League is a treasure box waiting to be explored. Art pieces run the gamut of stimulating to tranquil. Carved wood, jewelry, paintings, photography, sculpture and more entertain the eye and tantalize the senses. Browsing is more than welcomed. Columbia Art League is the perfect spot for unearthing a unique gift.

If you are looking for local art, instructions or a place that has both the old and the new CAL is the place to go. We are always there at Christmas. In June there is the Art Fair open to artists all over the USA. It is held at Stephens Park the first week in June.

We were wandering around Columbia, just randomly in town and stopped in. Great exhibit, very nice people.

The CAL in downtown Columbia is a wonderful place to see local shows and to take a class in one of the many media offered by visiting artists. The only downside is the parking. The street parking has a limit of time fills up quickly. But Columbia's downtown is great for walking with lots of shops and restaurants. Worth a trip though!
