Enjoy a 3 screen double feature of first run movies...just like the old days! On a nice night, we recommend sitting in the back of your pickup truck (if you have one)..it's like watching your own private movie outdoors!

Don't miss a chance to visit this awesome multi screen outdoor theater! Pack your folding chairs, blankets food and drinks (or buy food from their great snack bar!) and enjoy a great movie night!Great for people of all ages. There is also a playground for the kids to play while waiting for the movie to start.

Every summer my sister and I make a point to go to this drive in. This drive in offers 2 movies for the price of one. On car load night you can get in as many people can (legally) fit in your vehicle for the price of 2 adults. You can bring in your own food and I highly recommend you do so. There is a food court with candy, popcorn, fries, burgers, and delicious clam fritters. All of it is way overpriced though. There is a Burger King and a Dollar Tree nearby. Our tradition is to grab a bag of burgers and fries from BK and some candy from DT. Saves a little money and definetly hits the spot. Bring and use bug repellent. Arrive early to get a good spot. The movies start at sunset. In the meantime there is a small playground for the kids to play. Enjoy!

Well it's old school of course, but it's a great place for families or date night! Get to see two movies for the price of 1 in the comfort of your own vehicle!

This place keeps drive-in theaters current & not just an American past time.Friendly staff, convenient location, had plenty of room to set up our lawn chairs, great sound and picture, clean restrooms. Definitely got our money's worth with a double feature on each screen.Oh, and the Hosmer Mountain soda on tap is to die for!

Heading to Mansfield Drive-in is a summer highlight for my son and me. It's close to home for us, always has a great selection of current films and is always clean and welcoming. Going there brings back fond memories of family adventures of my youth and I'm grateful that I can share the same experience with my son now. We highly recommend the Mansfield Drive-in!

I have been going here since I was in college at Uconn in the early 90s. I had no idea it ever existed coming from Bridgeport...Everything about it is throwback and I love it. The intermissions are really good, the people are always nice...the food is great, although pricey and the movie rotations are always excellent. They are also well prepared for when 10+ people's car batteries die :)Beats a movie threatre any day of the week!

We brought our family of three teens for a night out at the drive-in. We have a truck so to make sure we got a good spot we arrived at 7:10 when the gate opened. They are very strict with parking and I mean strict. We parked in a correct spot (between yellow poles) but had to move in very tight to speaker. My son got spoken too about his nerf football, he was just holding it, and they were on their way to the grassy area anyway. The snack bar was very clean. The restrooms started out clean but by the 2nd movie had run out of supplies. Sound wasn't good, kept hearing the other movie, and the family next to use was very loud. We stayed through the 2nd movie which ended at 2:30 a.m. Long night, kids enjoyed but probably won't be back for awhile.

Wanted to bring my 3 daughters as I remember going to the drive-in with my parents, and my husband when we dated. We are not from the area so we were not as prepared as others, meaning, many people bring chairs to sit on to watch instead of sitting in the car, and are prepared with blankets, which we did not have. It really depends on the type of car you have if people in the back seat can see. Things that might obstruct someone's view is.....Small front windshield, Rear view mirror, other attachments to your windshield, and seat head rests. Also, I found that most people parked on the flat surface of the parking lot, not inclined on the humps like you are supposed to so the rear seat people can see better. You can't beat the price. $10 for (2) movies. FYI: You don't have to sit and watch both movies that are playing on one screen. If room permits, as people leave after the first movie, you can drive over to another screen. Also, we brought food in as I was afraid of the greasy stuff you would normally find at a drive-in. The food looked very fresh. I was sorry I brought my own. Was also worried about using the bathrooms. They were clean and spacious. Unfortunately the worst part of the trip was when I realized I lost my camera where we were first parked. Luckily my daughters found it for me - yes in the dark - unfortunately it was after someone drove over it, so camera is garbage - but my pictures of us having fun were saved!

Finally got a chance to go to the Mansfield Drive-In. Kid had never been to one, so it was a new experience.Get there early for the best spots; they open at 710p; cash only to the right. If you drive an SUV (over 5 ft high) you need to get in the first row of yellow poles. Red poles are for cars. They will make you move if you're in the wrong spot. Since it was July, the first movie, Despicable Me 2, didn't start until 930. World War Z started at 1130. So go in August.Be prepared for a lot of cars and people wandering abt.Ladies - the line wrapped around the building for the restroom - 3 stalls. It was a lot of fun, had popcorn, soda and a hotdog. DIgital projectors + car stereo was great. If you're going to sit outside, bring an fm radio and bug spray.Wednesday is carload night. Enjoy.

Even love the overpriced dinky cheeseburgs, just the nostalgia I think. It's hard to resist the smell of fried food!

My husband and I took our three and two year olds their first movie experience Madagascar 3 drove from mass about 1.5hrs torrential down pours that per up just when we got there. Beautiful and nostalgic well worth the drive but the kids were free. We have an suv so we parked along the side busy but felt private. The kids absolutely loved the atmosphere and snacks from concession. Great experience we can't wait to go back. This was the best value out of the three we have all about the same distance And the most screens w double features to choose from def recommend

To close out the summer in style we decided to take a drive to the Mansfield Drive-In Theatre. Many of The statndard one remembers are still alive and well in Mansfield...Big screens, open air, bumpy isles. Wedensdays carloads get in for the charge of two adults ($18 total as of 9/2012.) Cost was a little higher than I was hoping, $9 for 12 and up, $5 for 11 and under, but still far cheaper that the cost of two movies at a tradtional theater. Concessions were similarly priced to traditional theaters, but the quality was much better and more worth the cost for sure. Most missed feature: Dancing Hotdogs reelMost loved Feature: A night where everyone (incuding three picky teenagers) had a blast!! Absolutly worth the price of addmission as well as the drive from our town about 40 miles away.

For $9 per person, you can select which double feature you are interested in on the three screens at this old fashioned drive-in. We saw Avengers and Dark Knight on a beautiful summer night. The screens were refurbished this summer so the viewing quality of even the darkest parts of Dark Knight were good. Clean your windshield and bring your blankets. There are choices for the kids and adults.

A hidden gem! Not many drive ins around anymore. Three screens with two movies per screen a night. Has the old time concession stand in the middle with all sorts of movie treats....or just bring your own. Some nights they have car load night where you pay one flat rate for the whole car, if its a normal night then its about the same as a normal theater except that u get to see two movies for the price of one! Great experience for all
