service sucks, manager dosen't care, staff is too young, and they only cater to members, cannot pay cash. Sucks and will never visit again!

We could see the lake while golfing, coming and going to the Horseshoe Bay Resort. The area is beautiful, very senic.

The meals at the Yacht Club are incredible. The marina staff are very friendly and fun. Make sure you get Brandon if you decide to go on a guided fishing trip on the lake, especially if you have kids.

I had never been to this area before and so I decided to rent a jet ski at the horseshoe bay marina and the two women working there were awesome! They were flexible about times and were super nice. I would definitely go there again to rent at the marina if those ladies are there! :)

sat outside and had drinks and dinner with the kids.. Very kid friendly. not very busy, service seemed disjointed and slow. Drinks and food were good. Grouper was awesome and the specialty drinks were really good. Nice sunset view with band playing.rented jet skis and a pontoon bought. very reasonable prices, nice equipment.

The food here far exceeded my expectations. I expected a great view but had lower expectations of the food. Went with colleagues for a meeting.

Hi There, I wanted to take the time to write a review about my water sports(boating) at Lake LBJ experience. What brought me to Horseshoe Bay was a company event/retreat this past week. I figured I would try something new, so I signed up and checked out boating. I was the passenger that did not want to fall in the lake water so Tucker took it easy on me :). Very professional, nice, friendly, and knows how to have fun! We went out on the boat with him initially, afterwards visited the sand bar and passed up going back out with any other driver. We waited for Tucker to return and boy were we elated we did! Once again, we had a blast tubing and will return to Horseshoe Bay again and again!!!! Hope to hang out on the boat the next time we visit!

Marian is great. The pool is nice, but the poolside service not great. We had a great experience when we rented a cabana.

The view from the patio is amazing. So relaxing to look out over the water. And the food---! We were a group of 6. Everyone had something different. All was delicious. And the cold asparagus soup is unbelievable. We will return many times

The staff was excellent, from the beginning Sierra & Chase were awesome. We had an issue with our pontoon, Tucker & Kelley drove out to the other side of the lake with another boat. We will come back just because of their professionalism. They treated my family like we we're their family and I can't rave enough about them.

My family tried this waterpark and it was okay. I don't think we will return. There were a lot of rules and regulations. Everyone had to wear a preserver. Only 2 or 3 people per floatable. So our group of 5 wanted to get on the trampoline together but we couldn't. We arrived at 11:30 am and left around 2pm. The charge is $20 per person. I think it should be $10 per person. There were several floatable toys to climb such as two rock mountains, a slide, trampoline, monkey bars (for under 13 years) and a water slide. The inflatable toys were extremely difficult to climb. You hold onto to plastic rings and with the water its very slippery. Also the wooden deck is slippery. There is a right and left chute for the waterslide. The right chute several people got hurt that day. Be sure to use the left chute. Also its a long walk to the slide.I had been to a waterpark in Cozumel and of course down there minimal rules exist if any. it was fun with many people on the trampoline. the slide had a platform so you could stand and this made it easier to climb the ladder. Also the ladder had steps not rings. This waterpark is for 6 - 13 year olds so the grownups can help the kids climb up the rings. There is a restaurant on site; however, they let you bring your own food. I want to add all the attendants were very helpful and friendly.

We arrived in Horseshoe Bay the night of a tornado watch. While we were safe the entire time, the next day we went to the marina to rent a pontoon boat. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous even though they had lost the roof to their boathouse from the severe winds of the night before. The lake was beautiful that day and the brand new pontoon was gorgeous.

Customer service was good. We dealt with several employees during our weekend at HBR. Nice employees made booking easier.

I took a tour of the lake on a pontoon boat. The only thing that would have made it better is if it were not too cold to swim.

We ate dinner at the Yacht club on two occasions during our recent visit. The food was superb! I urge all to order the halibut. It was cook perfectly and the flavor was out of this world. The service from our waiter was prompt, but not hovering. The scenery made us feel like we were in the Caribbean. It was a perfectly outstanding evening - which caused us to return the next night. A prime buffet was our choice for Saturday night, and were we pleased. An excellent wine choice paired with the prime and garlic potatoes created another perfect evening. We were exceptionally pleased with our night at the yacht club.
