Worth the stop for sure. Be sure to sign up to see the Elk on the Refuge. Take a wagon/sleigh ride through the Elk Refuge if they are there. Awesome up and personal! Great personal working there. Very helpful and nice. Lots of great items in the museum!

Each Wednesday nite an a la carte dinner is served. Simple but good menu but I had to ring them 3 times before I got a confirmation. Art is fabulous and broad ranging.

This is a beautiful location directly opposite the Elk reserve. Animals abound even when the elks aren't there. We saw moose and deer and beaver very close to here, just magical. We had a nice lunch here, loved the sculptures and the art. Children loved it.

went here Wed after a day of skiing for the dinner option on Wed. Food was very good to excellent, and view was amazing: out over wildlife refuge, the sun was setting and moon was rising: simply beautiful! My only regret was not spending a bit more time walking around the museum itself: gorgeous lodge-like design with beautiful artwork inside and out. Noticed artwork on walls for sale in the dining area for very reasonable prices.

The experience was incredibly informative. Make sure you give yourself enough time to listen to the small feature videos on the artists. We did not have a meal in the restaurant, but heard it was very good. The gift shop is very nice and the prices are very reasonable. You can catch a bus from the town out to the museum and the driver will tell you the times that he will be returning.

Excellent little restaurant with a view of the Elk Refuge across the valley, good food and decent service.

Great way to spend time on a non-ski day in Jackson. Tasteful displays of paintings and sculpture of primarily western wildlife.with an audio guide included. Friendly staff and a nice cafe for lunch. A viewing lounge was a peaceful setting for using a scope to view eagles and elk in the National Elk Refuge below.

Thanks to Wendy and Maggie at the National Museum of Wildlife Art for hosting our Fountain Valley Ski Club for a wonderful sit-down luncheon of your chef's famous fish tacos and great views of the National Elk Refuge. Followed by self-guided tour of your beautiful museum capped our clubs stay in Jackson with a touch of Culture. We were not disappointed by the quality of the exhibits and our members photos of their pieces are being liberally posted on our clubs Facebook page. A testimony to the impact of our visit. Thanks for the hospitality!

We enjoyed our visit to the Wildlife Museum. They went out of the way to get some very nice wildlife art and tell the stories of the artist. Some of the art was Picture perfect, and the displays were well done. Especially we loved the outside sculptures. we had a snack at the cafe eatery, it is not a 5 star restaurant but does serve the purpose.

An absolute diamond, a must visit, so very well done, location, presentation is just unbelievable. We have been several times, see different things each time, the bronze work is superb on the outside and gets better as you work your way through the museum,

This museum is nothing short of elegant. Our visit was short, but we thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent here.

As a local, I'm a museum member and highly recommend a stop here for the summer or winter Jackson vacationer. It is the National Museum of Wildlife Art, after all. The opportunity to experience such a variety of artistic styles all anchored in the inspiration from wildlife really does expand the lens through which you might personally experience the incredible landscapes of this magical ecosystem. A great way to spend a couple hours on your rest day from the mountain, or on your way home from a day spent in the national park.

we stopped for lunch and a tour of the gallery. Both were a delight. We started with lunch - wonderful & with a great view of the refuge, then moved on to view the wonderful variety of art. I still think about a few of the pieces that were quite moving.you will be glad that you stopped

The day we visited they were having a special event for local artist. There was so much to see it was overwhelming. Enjoyed especially the bronze sculptures that surrounded the museum. Was a little too expensive but art does cost.
