A local ranch arranged our overnight camping trip with WCO. We rode about 4 hours into the Gros Ventre wilderness area and set up camp in a meadow by a stream. Everywhere we went looked like a postcard--stunning views at every turn. The horses and equipment were great. Best of all, Jimmy and "Cookie" were fantastic guides--very knowledgeable, and serious about preservation. The food was excellent, and much to my surprise they accommodated my gluten-free diet with an incredible supply of GF biscuits, bread, cake and Chex-Mix. We highly recommend them, and would do this trip again and again.

WCO is a wilderness guide service and were our guides for a pack trip to a high meadow in the Gros Ventre Range in Wyoming. The horses and tack were great. The guide was very knowledgeable and seemed to treat this vast wilderness like his back yard ( very reassuring) . All the details were looked after right down to our own camp cook. This area is so beautiful and untouched that you need an experienced guide to get you there ( and back). These guys are the real deal.
