I walk through Grove Park every day with my dogs. My grandson loves the play equipment. My husband loves the obstacle course. I find it relaxing.

This park has benches and a really nice tot lot style playground. Usually available parking for free behind the visitors center before the "circle" entering Rehoboth Avenue. If you go on a Tuesday try to get there before 11 am as the Farmers Market sets up nearby and the parking gets difficult. I would suggest a visit with children on a Tuesday late morning and then stroll the Market for a bite to eat or a snack. There are nice clean bathrooms in this park. Non Smoking

Fabulous little playground with seating areas in shade, restrooms and a picnic area, right next to the Rehoboth Visitors Center. The slides do get a bit hot on sunny days but that is an occupational hazard! They have a great farmers market with lots of interesting vendors on Tuesdays noon-4pm. There is also a new workout circuit for people who want to stay in shape. Highly recommended park for families visiting (or living in) Rehoboth or nearby

Grove park is a nice shady park to spend some time relaxing on a bench, having a picnic or letting the little ones play on the playground. They have a farmer's market here every Tuesday during the summer months and early fall. They have a picnic pavilion here and I believe there were some charcoal grills there too. The play area for the bigger kids is really nice, but there is not much for toddlers. There are a couple of baby swings and a small lady bug & car they can sit in. I just wish they had a little kids (age 2-5) playground with slides and gadgets to play with. They slides here seem to be for bigger kids. There is also an exercise station here for those looking for an outdoor workout routine.Overall, a nice park for adults and big kids. Not much for my little ones though. So, we will skip it until they are bigger. Farmers market here can be good too, but parking is tight during the hours that it is open. I wish the parking lot was larger OR that they allowed FREE parking on the adjacent street during the market hours. It was difficult to find parking last time we went. Note: Restrooms on location.

Great playground for kids; something for everyone, even older kids. Has some great old trees for plenty of shady spots. Has benches & a pavilion for picnics. The Chamber of Commerce & the Rehoboth Beach Museum are both right there. Also, there is usually plenty of parking. Also in the summer on Tuesdays (I believe) they set up a farmer's market on the grounds.

Funland is fun but Grove Park is FREE fun! :) And if you're like me, you appreciate being off the beaten path with the little ones- that's relaxing vacation time. Of course we could go to a playground at home but the familiarity of green space and the playground is, I think, comforting to the little ones when on sensory (and sugar) overload. I wish I'd ventured into the visitor center... I still might, but time is running out on our vacation!
