Fun family activity you can stroll around and the kids absolutely loved it, the pillow jumping was fun. My favorite was the petting zoo great
My friends and I got In line for the field of screams. I had to go to the bathroom, when I came back I squeezed passed this man without touching him. A women with him came up to me and said "excuse me. You just pushed my nephew" I looked at the man and said ," oh I'm sorry, I wasn't aware" he told me it was fine. The lady told me that next time I need to be respectful. I said " I was being respectful, I just apologized." She said "don't get sassy with me" I said, " excuse me?" And turned away. When we were just about to go in the haunted corn maze a zombie (actor) stared at me for about 3 minutes straight. I laughed and played along until she spoke to me. She said " you need to learn how to respect people. (She pointed with the lady I just talked to about 25 minutes ago) I've heard from many people you have been rude. So I'm going to stare at you until you go inside." I was thinking that this lady was just having a bad day or something so I ignored her. A few minutes later I saw her talking to the women at the door to walk into the maze. When I reached the door she Told me my wristband was old and I could not use it . I bought that wristband that day, it did not look old. She also said," you need to learn how to respect adults, why don't you put down your phone and read book about respect" I was horrified. I can't believe I just got bullied at a family farm by a zombie. I will never go back there again.
My family had such an amazing time at the corn maze. My family and I have been coming to the maize for 8 years in a row and it just keeps getting better. Never had a bad experience. Everything about this place is fun, and perfect family entertainment. We will be back again next year. Thanks Staheli farm for doing something great for families in the area.
What a great place for Kids and adults. Our little ones enjoyed the animals who seemed fine in their cages and pens. They staff and owners treated us well and it was well organized even though it was busy and there was a wait. The prices are very fair and reasonable especially if you compare to other similar attractions in the state. I recommend this to all!!
My family went to this family farm two years ago with several other families from Las Vegas and loved it! We missed last year but are scheduled to go with the same families this year. When reading the reviews I was shocked to read the July 2014 reviews regarding animal abuse. I couldn't believe this family orientated place would do this knowing they cater to young children so I called them and left a message. In no way did I expect a phone call back from the owner who was so gracious in explaining the situation. It was a newborn calf that happened to be stomped on by its mother (mother nature at its finest). The vet was called. This place is regularly inspected. There's no reason to be concerned. The farm has been in the family for 100 years and they care deeply for their animals, their family and their business. Please note though...it is a real working farm so be ready to get dirty!
I'm a teenager, and like most teenagers I like to go have fun with my friends on a Friday night....the farm is the place to be especially around October the "Field Of Screams" is soo much fun!! And the wait is DEFIANTLY worth it and they take amazing care of their animals can't wait to go spend all of October weekends at the farm this year only a few weeks left!
The conditions of the animals are terrible. It looks as if they are not fed. They are living in their own feces, and cages are crowded. The surrounding area is not well taken care off. Dead cows have been left out in the sun with the rest of the animals on several occasions. The owners just don't seem to care, they are mistreating their animals and failing to keep a healthy environment.
Terrible conditions for the animals. We saw a couple of dead calfs in the pen with the others. Insufficient living quarters. The other animals did not fare much better. Cramped spaces. Filthy water. A depressing experience.
Hello this is Sherrie from Staheli family farm...I was disappointed to see your review on trip advisor. As the business owner I first want to apologize for the inconvience of the long lines. We had a big increase in our visitors this season and were experiencing some growing pains. I appreciate you letting us know your feelings that helps us to know the areas to improve. This season we can see and started to make improvements. I hope I am safe to assume that your trip to the farm was mid Oct. .I know towards the end we did get better. We hope you will give us another chance. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention. Sincerely, Sherrie
This is the 3rd year in a row that we've taken our kids from Las Vegas to the Staheli Family Farm for the Field of Screams and Corn Maze. During the day you can come hear and go to their pumpkin patch and pick your own pumpkin. Cost was .30 cents per lb. They have alot of things for young children to do. We go during the day, leave and go to dinner, then come back for the haunted Field of Screams. It's a blast! Not recommended for the young. Our youngest is 13 and there are parts that scared him. One of our favorites to visit with is Wicka Dee Witch. Love her!
Nice Cattle Farm! They have good entertaining grounds to visit for the fall. Not sure I would visit for anything thing else but great fall fun. Took my kids (elementary and middle ages) and they had a good time. Lots of things for the younger kids to do with the bounce pillow, petting farm and my son loved the tether ball of all things. We took a VERY short ride to the pumpkin patch which is a small vegetation field with pumpkins placed around. It was not stocked well when we arrived at 6 pm on a Saturday but my youngest was too young to notice or care. I was a little bothered by this since we had to pay to even get to the pumpkin patch and then had to buy the pumpkins. The pumpkins were reasonably priced if you did not include the price of the REALLY short wagon ride. I just consider the total cost as worth the fun for the kids. The Corn Maze is a lot of fun and was even a little spooky without be too scary for the kids.We had a good time and even got pics with the resident witch. We will do it again next year!
This year we came up from Las Vegas with my parents visiting from Arizona. I have my husband and two boys ages six and eight. The weather was great- cooler than average for the end of September. The cost is $6.00 per person for the pumpkin patch and farm playland, or $9.00 per person to include the corn maze. There is no discount for seniors or children which is too bad. We played for a while in the farm playland-the kids love the giant jumping pillow- and the petting zoo is fun as well. Then we took a hayride out to the pumpkin patch and picked out some pumpkins-they were in the patch but already cut from the vine. The last thing was the corn maze, a short hayride away. Great fun!
I was surprised how well the haunted corn maze was! I was actually scared a few times! It's a really fun atmosphere with lots for everyone to do. The owners are super friendly as well. It gets really busy tho! We waited forever to even get on the truck to go to the haunted corn maze and then waited another.. Forever.. To go through. Worth it tho. I'm glad we went and plan to go again!
This is a must-visit in the fall. It is so quaint and fun and it takes you back in time. A really fun place for kids, teens, and families. Fun date night as well.
I was able 2 hang back while the kids went thru the maze. There is great food served & the property was clean. I felt secure w/ the kids going in on their own.Its a very neat place
