Very nice disc golf course. My husband and I played a bit while the kids blew off steam. The weather was gorgeous. Not what we expected in December in Colorado, but we enjoyed it!
City Park has EVERYTHING to offer all ages... in the general area, there is... a golf course, dog park, tennis courts, baseball fields, skate park, frisbee golf, fishing spot, zoo, play grounds, picnic areas, fountains, pond spot to feed ducks, and carnival rides for kids... definitely a great family place... especially in the summer!Pack a lunch and grab the family for a fun day!
Every thing you could want in a park. Swimming, tennis, frisbee golf, picnic areas, and a pond that attracts beautiful ducks and geese. There is also a very nice zoo and an area for dogs to play.
My family has been going to this park for generations. Lots of open space and plenty of things to do. lots of picnic tables, a Zoo, large play ground, skate board park, dog park, swimming pool, ball fields, frisbee golf and more things that I probably forgot. This is a wonderful place to spend the day. Go and enjoy it.
The City Park in Pueblo dates back to 1904, and today's park has a lovely selection of rides for young children, a small roller coaster that all the family can enjoy, and a historic Charlie Parker carousel complete with band organ.Beautifully preserved and lovingly maintained, the park is a hidden gem for the city...it's not about white knuckles, it's purely about having good old-fashioned family fun. Plentiful free parking near the zoo, and with rides from as little as 25 cents you can't go wrong.
I have 3 children and they absolutely had the best time. It was so great to take them to a theme park that fit there needs my oldest is 7 and my youngest is 3 and both of them had plenty to do. That is always there request when they have the chance to go somewhere special. This is a family favorite and I recommend it to everyone the prices are affordable they experience is wonderful So happy I stumbled on this Gem!
What a great place for family! This place is for kids that are about between 4 and 7. There were a few rides that if your kids are above 48'' they would be too big to ride. The Carousel and train is great fun!
Nice park with right balance of open space, a bridge, lake, ducks and swans and even a bathroom! Greta for dogs, and people, to run around.
I love you can walk around and it was peaceful and nicely kept up. Some parks are dirty but was clean and I like the island in the middle of the lake. There is nothing to dislike there.
My son and I went there to go to the zoo, but when we saw the park we where soooo amazed that we decided to enjoy it! Plant of tree shades for a picnic or just rest, perfect for bicycles, and sort of activities inside it. Luckily we had swimming suits in the car and we were able to enjoy the swimming pool!!! My son loved the water-slide, at least 4 lifeguards, very safe!!! The change rooms could have some curtains to give some privacy when you need to change clothes, but other than that, was very good. We love the park!!!!
I have been using City Park for more than 60 years. It has everything, a pool, frisbee golf course, golf course, playing fields, fishing ponds, a skate park, beautiful tennis courts, and the summer kiddie rides and historic carousel. Wonderful place to take advantage of all the above, or a family picnic.
A quiet, pretty park filled with flower gardens, rose gardens, play grounds, pool, small lake, walking trails, places for sitting, picnics...surrounded by historical homes and buildings. A few bars and eating establishments.
try out the amusement park in the summer--can't beat 25 cent rides...perfect for families and very affordable
With a working carousel and many amusing rides this place is a great way to spend a weekend evening with the kids. The prices a re very low and can keep a family of 4 occupied for a few hours.
I love going to Pueblo City Park. I must say though, it lacks improvement with the baseball field parking and location for throwing parties. I could use more benches and cleaner restrooms. The "lake" or pond is pretty dirty sometimes, but that's nature. Excellent space and natural look. I would not recommend taking your kids to the skate board park because of its horribly designed park. This skateboard park has cracks and unstable concrete for beginners to learn on, including a big puddle in the middle of the skate park. The Zoo is pretty nice and I like taking my kids to "electric critters" in the winter. Overall this park is great and just needs improvement for all types of youth to enjoy and be safe.
