If you're traveling the 1000 Islands Wine Trail in Northern New York, make sure to stop in Philadelphia, NY for Otter Creek! If you can find Philly, you'll be able to follow the signs to Otter Creek. It's just off the beaten path, in a beautiful rural setting, overlooking rolling green fields sometimes populated with sheep.The tasting room is a small, intimate setting, with a very knowledgeable staff ready to take you through a personalized tasting of all their wines. From dry to sweet, you'll find something for your tastes. And for 2 bucks, it's a great deal!And if you're there in the warmer months, nothing beats sipping a wine slushy while you relax on the back porch.

Our family stopped here just one day after thanksgiving this year November 2012. This was our parents first time to the winery my wife and I have been there before. We are always pleased with everything. They are very friendly and the wine was all good no complaints there. If you enjoy tasting wine 364 days a year minus Christmas day, this is the place for you. We highly recommend and wine lover stop into this winery, you will not be disappointed

The winery is run by a local family. The owners are very friendly and helpful with wine selections. Tasting is available and on some days wine slushies can be purchased

We stopped here on our 1000 Islands Winery Tour. It was easy to find by following the signs. The winery offers wine tasting for $2. We bought some wine and drank two bottles the first night in our hotel room. Very friendly people working - not sure if they were the owners or not.
