They have some great local wine and are friendly people. The tasting bar is always open and they do have a little food. Also a nice outdoor pation with plenty of tables and chairs. I have went there several times
This is by far the friendliness winery in Arkansas, they have outstanding wine as well. Tontitown winery should be in your list of things to experience every time you're in northwest Arkansas.
Loved this winery. They were so nice & let you sample as many wines as we wanted. The wines were so good, I definitely didn't leave empty handed. We go back there again.
We stopped in at Tontitown Winery on our way to Eureka Springs. It is a family owned and operated winery. The daughter works in the tasting room/store and the dad makes the wine. They are very friendly and all the wines we tasted were wonderful. We could taste as many wines as we wanted and there was no charge for tasting. We bought three bottles of wine and would have stopped and bought more on our way back but we just didn't have time. We will definatley order some on line.
Our last stop on our 2 day wine excursion offered some new flavors and a very helpful server. The sampling was 7 pours which covered all the wines I wanted to try. We added a couple more bottles to our collection.
Stopped in here for a quick wine tasting and left with two bottles to take home. Server was very friendly and offered 7 free samples. I mostly sampled the reds and Ives noir was my favorite. A great compromise wine for a couple like us in which one prefers a little sweeter and one a little drier. Also got a chilled white zif. Hard to pass up a yummy one at only $10! Great little winery in older home.
This winery is nestled in the small Italian town of Tontitown. It is located in an older home where you can do wine tasting and purchase wine by the bottle or glass to drink as you sit out on the lawn on Friday night and listen to the live entertainment. Bring a lawn chair because the tables fill up fast. They have a food trailer available for hot dogs and such too. There is a play area for your kids out behind the house. Very relaxing to drink your wine and listen to the band while you sit outside in the evening air.
While visiting Fayetteville, we found this winery. Very friendly people and tasted some very nice wines! We actually left with a case! Highly recommend, if you enjoy wine and in this area, stop by. We will stop again whenever in the area.
Great wine, Great cheese and cracker selection, and most importantly the atmosphere is unbeatable. The staff makes you feel right at home and you couldn't ask for better service. A+, please do yourself a favor and stop in for a taste of Tontitown!
They use some local grapes and ship some in from California. We liked the wine from the California grapes the best. Very, very friendly people. We will go back and support our local winery.
We absolutely love this place. Such a great venue to sit outside on the patio or on the front porch. Great live music from time to time and we love the wine selection. This place has great charm and a wonderful location. Highly recommended!
After our disappointment with the Fayetteville Ale Trail yesterday, we went by Tonitown winery on our way home. A great experience...chatting with the server and sampling as many samples as we desired with no problem. I had read about their Italian Red wine and it was as good as anticipated. We came away with a bottle of that and a bottle of their Red Port, which has a hint of brandy. Now just need a pot of spaghetti and meatballs to go with the Red. Great prices on great wine.
Wines are good, setting is nice, and pricing is very reasonable!Hard to beat free tasting as well! The tasting was very nice, gentleman serving as friendly and unpretentious! We enjoyed sampling the different blends.Bought a glass of the ones we liked best.....and got the holiday pour!!!! A great value and a nice spot to stop and enjoy for a bit!
We LOVE this place! It has become a tradition (for the past few years) to take a tour of Arkansas wineries for our anniversary. We stumbled on this one on our first tour. It is just charming and wonderful. My husband says they make the best Italian red! It's his favorite. We always take the time to enjoy a glass with some cheese and crackers, sitting in a rocking chair on the front porch. SO nice!!!
We stopped by for a free tasting and left with 3 perfect bottles. We chose the Concord which is a sweet red, that really has that concord grape hint to it, the Red Muscadine and the Rock House Wine;. All three wines were new tastes to us and flavors that I have not had at other wineries. Superb work Heather and it was lovely to meet you. We will be back for sure!!!
