Okay but you have to barter.Don,t bring your cell phones with you. They can get lifted easy.Always watch your personal stuff closely.Too many Jewellery stores and not enough local artists

Not a lot of choice souvenir shops and jewellers but friendly clean and done the job, nobody hassled you to buy and if you bartered you definitely got some bargains. I didn't go in any of the jewellers so no idea how good they were

Good place to get sovereigns and fine jewelry. They do bargain with you but still high priced. It is very clean and well kept and the sales people were friendly. There was some hovering though.

The 'Shops At Rose Hall" is a pristine shopping oasis where shopping is hassle free and reminded us of a pleasant shopping experience we had in Sanibel, Florida. The shopping is spotlessly clean, with no one approaching or bothering to sell you anything. It is like shopping in any North American shopping centre, but with the beauty and breezes of Jamaica! The stores are mostly Duty Free Jewellery stores, along with high end clothing stores, coffee sales, and assorted lovely stores. We've gone here before, now and whenever we come back for a visit to Montego Bay. It is a hassle free, leisurely time at this pristine oasis. It is absolutely lovely, breezy and puts you in the mood to bring back some Jamaican memories to enjoy later! ♥

Stopped in here for a special deal and left with a ring we really did not want. Lots of free drinks and hard sell. Now trying to return the ring but no response yet from them. Both US numbers are disconnected and no response to our email. REcommended and supported by Carnival Cruise lines. They are the next stop for us.

Do not try too hard to visit the Shops. Half of them are just convenience stores. Do not buy rum here, same bottle was half price in the airport duty free. There isn't really much to buy here, as everything is overpriced

I have been to the Shoppes at Rose Hall a year ago and again just recently. Next time we go to Jamica I will go again. There is a good selection of shops in this open air plaza. Everything from spices, beach ware, tee shots, high end clothing, watches and real and costume jewellery. It's a good way to pass a few hours. It is very safe and everyone is very helpful. I shopped while my husband played golf. The buses from the hotels drop you off at the front and pick you at the same spot. The staff at the front know all the buses and the times so you just have to ask.

The Shoppes at Rose Hall are basically made up of two categories:Jamaican Souvenirs (think clothing, swim suits, cover-ups, hats, ornaments, etc) and jewelry. There is also a cigar store and coffee store for those Blue Mountain Coffee lovers. Sprinkled in with a few local vendors (wood carving, hair braiding, painting) and you round the options. Our family spent about two hours; we didn't hit every shop but found enough souvenirs to take home in that time frame.

There are probably 25 different shops in this complex but at least half of them are jewellery shops, with some high end items like Rolex and Cartier watches. We bought a couple of items from two vendors who had a little bench outside, otherwise there's an average selection of the usual tourist stuff to choose from in the other shops. It was worth an hour of our time and the transfer to/from the hotel was free.

Nice enough stores. But again (I'll capitalize it just so it gets across) YOU NEED TO KNOW HOW TO HAGGLE. that being said don't even bother with the 2 stores directly on the right, but everyone else is fine. My mom and i both did most of our shopping here and we were not disappointed with any of purchases.

This is literally one of the most overpriced places for shopping in Montego Bay. Everyone basically sells the same things and they all tend to harass. I ended up finding out that the expenses at this plaza are extremely high which is why all of their merchandise is ridiculously overpriced. However, there was one place where I did find amazing products at a good price. After Shoppes at Rose Hall, our bus driver took us to Blue Diamond Plaza and encouraged us to go to a store called Rainbow Souvenirs. However, we soon realized that the owner harassed us worse than at Shoppes at Rose Hall and he had a system set up with the bus drivers so that the drivers would get a commission based on what we bought. Therefore once again, the goods were ridiculously overpriced. Finally, we walked a few doors to the right of Rainbow Souvenirs and came across a store named Paradise Found. THIS STORE IS WHERE ALL TOURISTS GOING TO MONTEGO BAY SHOULD SHOP. They had a great variety of local products (the products were actually made in Jamaica, instead of coming from China THANK GOD). Furthermore, the lady running the store was incredibly nice and friendly, managed to hold a conversation with us, and gave us incredible deals on local craft and souvenirs, dresses and beach wear. We saved over 40% on our purchases by coming to Paradise Found in Blue Diamond Shopping Plaza.

This is a small shopping area but there is a nice selection of shops. There are a few clothing and souvenir shops, a couple of jewelry stores and good coffee too. We went there to have some of the best Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee we've ever had. It's at the Coffee and Spice store. The prices may seem high but the coffee is worth it if you like really good coffee. We got iced coffee and the flavors were strong and rich. Clothes aren't too badly priced considering its a tourist shopping hub. It's a fun way to spend a couple of hours.

There are some shops that are useful for things you might have forgotten at home but nothing major. You can also find some high end things like watches as well.

Don't believe what anyone could tell you in Jamaica, you can bargain the prices and it is fenced in, so only tourists get to shop there. Nice products and lots of variety. Also, go to Casa De Oro, very nice and friendly people. They even offer drinks if you are a serious customer.
