The "Bergid" Cliffs are a beautiful geological formation at the small boat marina in down town Keflavik. But in the long winter nights the cliffs are lit up with flood-lights that give them a golden color. Really beautiful to see. The cliffs are lit up from the first weekend in September til the next summer. The "Bergid" Cliffs is a really good reason to visit Keflavik during the winter

One of the things that I am privileged to see every day after it´s turned on in the first weekend of September each year. Also has a nice hiking path on top of it along the coast line.

Enjoyed the romance looking at the lights at Bergid wich is located by the ocean in Keflavik city Center. We were also very lucky seeing some whales or dolphins jumping around only 200 - 300 meters away from the shore.
