This is a great part of the Old town, full of spirit and great architecture. I did not know what to take a picture of first, I was that fascinated.

Street with real spirit of Old Riga - good object, if you walking through old city. There are some good caffee and restourants. Still mourn for the closed "Pūt vējiņi". :( View from the crosstreet - Krāmu iela - offered one of the classical scene with Riga Doma Cathedral (Doma baznīca).

A nice road to go for some drinks, take some pictures and even see a Christmas market in December and January with alive sheeps and rabbits. It is a nice place to be. That's why I booked my hotel in this street. Also the hotel has a great design.

Art Nouveau pearl in the middle of Old town Riga. Many cultural events, museums and art shops around. **********************Watson and Sherlock was there.

You may miss it as it is a very small street linking with the market square. You must notice the buildings, nice pics - if you take your camera -, they are wonderful, all full of details...

Thrilling street of Old Riga will impress you with old beautiful buildings, bars and restaurants, a spirit of old times.

Jauniela has something for everyone who is looking for a drink (Cuba, Spot, Greenwood), and also some restaurants which range from basic to exclusive. A nice, cozy street worth walking through. If you go far enough it becomes Palasta iela which also has interesting places (Yolo, Rigas skaņu fabrika, Ezītis miglā).

Very beautiful street, my favourite. <3 I can recommend wonderful hotel Justus too. You can find it from this street. :)

Using your TripAdvisor you will see that 3 of the top places to eat in Riga are located on this small street. The architecture is well kept and in classical/mid-evil style. There are some hotels and cafes also to keep you busy. If you lodge on this street you can eat here all week.

Wonderful little street just off the main square (House of Blackheads etc) which is easy to miss but worth making an effort to find. Great old buildings, lots of Jugenstil decoration, several good restaurants and cafes. Add to your to do list!

Jauniela is packed with cafes & restaurants + there are 2 hotels allocetad on the street. some of places are just great. some classical films of mosfilm was made on that street - like sherlock holms and some others...

Very beautiful road. Must visit. The heart of Riga.

Jauniela is a nice pedestrian street in the Old Riga. Lively, but not loud with several cafes and restaurants (Le Crabe Restaurant, Cuba Café, Alpenrose, Put Vejini etc.). Picturesque houses and alfresco dining.

Aangezien je van te voren hoort dat de straat vaak wordt gebruikt in films, verwacht je er heel veel van. Toen wij er aankwamen, dachten we 'is het dit?'. Wanneer je niet veel tijd hebt in Riga, zou ik hier niet te veel tijd aan besteden.

Самая кинематографичная улица Риги, на которой снимали 17 мгновений весны (Базель) и Шерлока Холмса (Бейкер-стрит). Узнать улицы из кино довольно сложно, придется потрудиться.
