If you have young children to entertain then this is well worth a visit. It is located across the road from Malmo castle, and on the edge of Kungsparken (the King's Park). The museum contains several aircraft, a submarine that you can explore and various entertaining child orientated experimental tasks for curious little minds, on the upstairs level. The children I have been with especially loved trying to chase the aircraft that were projected flying onto the floor. Great fun.

This is a bit worn down, some exhibitions are really not so well composed but it is very accessable especially for small kids. They can get near a lot of stuff, it is not too big and there is a bit of a human touch to it, not so institutional

It's a good place to go if you have time and don't really know what to do. There was a lot of kids when I went, so it was really lively.

There's a lot to see in the museum and I think the going inside a submarine was the highlight. There were a lot of children there when I visited and parts of the museum dedicated to children's activities. I bought a combined ticket for this museum and the art gallery/castle down the road and thought it was very good value for money.

Its more for people who love history and interested in science. Yes it has some sections for fun , but its a informative place with war aircraft and the submarine in display . Do have atleast 2-3 hours to visit it fully.

We spent a great couple of hours around this museum, there is lots to see and do and we were surprised at how cheap it was! All of the exhibits were great and despite it being a busy Saturday we still felt like there was room to explore and read the English explanations.

Lots of cool things too see. In addition it has a really attractive interactive science center. It is centrally located next to a nice park.

The museum contain many technology objects from the old days, airplane engines of all kind and many other common use objects of the last centuries. Lifestyle of old days is well explained by the objects exposed. The section of physics allows the kids to experiment by himself a live approach to the laws of dynamic and optics. The pirate room is a good playfield for babies. The masterpiece of this museum is the presence of a real submarine. I never been into a real submarine before, and this experience, was fascinating to me. It is amazing to think that sailors had to share so small spaces and so little privacy during their long missions during the world war and that the technology of old days had allowed them to do their duties.

Me and couple of my university mates visited this museum during our day trip to Malmö. The plan was to stay an hour or so. Impossible. There was so many cool things in this place that we ended up messing around for almost 2 and a half hours! Absolutely amazing museum with plenty stuff to see and do! Submarine was amazing, the staff were very passionate about what they had to say! Make sure you don't miss the universe room, in which you can with a help of a xbox controller see our planet from the universe! 20 SEK with a student card, totally worth every krona!

We were visiting Malmo and looking for places to go. This was high up on the list and it did not disappoint. Well to start with it did, purely because some of the write ups had no english. We kept going round and more and more started to appear. The power room was great, including the submarine, it was really enjoyable walking through one! Then the best bit. We went up stairs to the "games" room. The interactive things were amazing. We loved it, the brain challenge was our favourite, well Marks, as Annie lost. If pushed for time, head upstairs first and you will love it. Go, don't think about it, just go... and for a bargain price too. Not sure how much, but know it was cheap and it also gets you into other museums, if you have any time left!
