They do at The Quincy Street Distillery. Quaint and cozy bar. Check. On sight alcohol production. Check. A greater appreciation for the process of alcohol distillation. Check and Check. Warm and friendly atmosphere and a wealth of learning , plus alcohol. Take a tour, do a tasting, support a craft industry and enjoy their fine products.

Great tour of a small local spirits distillery .Owner did the tour and he has historical knowledge of the Riverside area and a ton of knowledge regarding spirits Nice to see a small batch distiller and to find out how the booze is made .Very informative and the tastings are great

We heard about the distillery from a friend. The tour was delightful and informative. The cocktails were spectacular! The Honey-ito was delightfully fresh & fun. I grew up in Riverside and yet I learned some history from the owner Derrick about Riverside's past that I did not know . Looking forward to the release of their first Absinthe. We'll be back for a taste!

As a LONG-TIME Riverside (IL) resident, the mere presence of a craft distillery in my (historically dry) home town is a VERY big deal. But, when you take note of: 1) All the "hoop jumping" the founder/owner Derrick Mancini had to go through just to open his doors, 2) The lengths he goes to to inform people about the nature of the spirits he distills on his menus and fact sheets (yes, "fact sheets;" he knows there's a lot of confusion out there!), 3) All the paraphernalia/memorabilia he sells to enhance the experience, 4) How engaging, informative and just, plain, FUNNY Cobie is when she's behind the "Speakeasy Bar" and, 5) How, flat-out, TASTY Derrick's spirits are (I personally recommend any bourbon-type cocktail so you can savor his "Bourbon Spring" whisky; If you're ever there when Mr. Mancini's there, I'll let him tell you what the name means), you gotta ask yourself (or anybody sitting on the stool next to you), "What's not to like?" The answer? NOT A THING. Unqualified THUMBS-UP!!!

Quincy Street Distillery offers an exciting visit with the possibility to taste brilliant whiskey, aquavit and more. Very friendly people in the distillery.

My wife shops on groopon and found a tour of Quincy Street Distillery. She asked if I was intrested I said yes and boy am Iglad I did. This place is a very quiet speakeasy. The drinks are fresh inventive and not expensive $4.00 or $8.00 each. all are served with the distillery's on products. We did the tour in June and have been back several times to enjoy a quiet drink with friends yes every one there becomes your friend. Your all there for the same thing good drinksand enjoyment. So I say take the tour and you'll come back for the drinks. My fav right now is a Brown Durby with the Rye.

Overall this is a great place to go, try some a new local distillery that is starting to pop up at stores in the area. Very knowledgable tour given by the owner with some history of the Riverside area as well as his history getting into the business.Samples were great, very smooth, and a few options to mix as well. Only downside was the hours for the tours and tasting room were a little bit limited, so look forward to expansion over the weekends and even evenings as they continue to grow.

If you have any interest in tasting great spirits or seeing how they are made, I highly recommend a visit to QSD. Derrick's knowledge of distillery-stuff is encyclopedic, and makes great, fresh cocktails. When I went I brought along a group of guys, and everyone had a great time. Its off the beaten track, but well worth the time and effort.

We had a fun tour of the distillery. It's a small place, so it's a really short tour. But the tasting was fun and the cocktails were great.

I have visited the retail shop on half a dozen occations this year and never left without one or two nuggets of gin and/or licquor consumptiion. Lillet instead of Vermouth makes a "Bond" martini. I await the delayed Absinthe introduction in December, knowing the amount of poison in wormwood is so low that the residual in the sample supplied by the distillery was undetectable, so the Fed asked for a bigger sample to test. I want a bigger sample too.

The owner gave the tour, and the two other great things going for this tour are: 1) he knows the technology and chemistry of distilling, and 2) he knows the history of spirits and drinks.

Nestled just down the street from the historic watertower and town hall is this wonderful little distillery! We haven't taken the tour yet (we have our Groupon, tho) but we've been in a few times for some of their fantastic spirits. Our bartender, Coby, was great and gave us a lot of the history while mixing up some truly tasty drinks for us. We're within walking distance so we're thrilled to have this gem in our neck of the woods!!

Small, quaint, and delicious. I love this place. And the fact that it's in Riverside makes it all the more delightful.

My husband and I went on a groupon to tour this boutique distillery. We had a drink which was wonderful and learned all about the process of making whiskey. We learned about the process and the ingredients. It was very interesting. The owner-lecturer gave an in-depth description of the process including what goes into each batch. At the end of the tour, samples were given. My husband and I really enjoyed it.

My husband and I bought tickets for a distillery tour at Quincy Street Distillery through Living Social. We didn't really know what to expect. We had both been on winery tours before so we expected it to be similar. Quincy Street Distillery is very quaint! We ended up being the only people signed up for a tour, but it was great! Derrick explained everything and you can tell he is really passionate about what he does. The whiskey is great too! I would definitely recommend the tour to anyone interested in how whiskey is made. But even if you don't want to take the tour, you the front of the distillery has a bar where you can try the different types of whiskies.
