This is a beautifully kept park with lovely walking trails and a gorgeous natural river meandering down from its natural spring. Swimming is allowed here. Watch out for wildlife in its natural habitat. Recommended to get back to nature and escape the man-made attractions.

Kelly Park is the anti Disney. Meander along a crystal clear spring that sprouts forth from caves at the top of the nature walk and spot birds, natural flora, and maybe an otter or two. It is a little like a natural lazy river, only without the chlorine and concrete. It does get a little crowded on the weekends in the summer, but if one can tune out the people and just concentrate on the natural beauty that abounds at this park, then you will have a truly one-of-kind experience. And trust me, there are plenty of places along the way to just soak in the beauty and forget about the family birthday party taking place by the picnic areas. Kelly Park is like an oasis in the middle of the strip malls and strip joints that can mar the Central Florida area like a pock mark.

This "river" is just beautiful. I suggest to come early when the park opens because it may get full and they close when they reach max capacity, but do re-open later in the day. They have grills so you can bring your own food and they also has restrooms with showers. The water is freezing so I suggest jumping right in! I went with family and had a great time. You can bring your own tubes or rent (not sure how much they are). Enjoy!

You just can not beat the value of these parks. The lazy river was incredible and so relaxing with a place to buy food if you do not bring your won. I picked some on the way on a local supermarket and just relaxed at the place. You can hire the inflatables if you do not remember to bring one. It is just so beautiful here and really does deserve the title of a lazy river where you can relax

We spent the afternoon here over Christmas holidays and brought our nieces to swim and play. While playing in the playground area in the mulch surrounding the jungle gym equipment they were severely bitten by fire ants and required medical attention. Shame on the County/City for allowing an unsafe playground, not to mention the fees collected for that privilege.

I love this place. I've lived in Florida my whole life and I am finally exploring the places I've always wanted to see. This one was one my boyfriend and I ran into and it was one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to. We came to this park on a Sunday to go into Rock Springs which runs through the park. We visited the park at about 1 pm but it was closed off because it had reached its maximum capacity. They re-opened the doors at 3 pm so we waited at a bikers bar in the corner. We rented some tubes for $5 each and when the doors opened... it was on! We rushed inside and paid $3 per car, parked, and realized this park is pretty amazing. There are benches and picnic tables around with grills. There were families everywhere playing and grilling patties and hot dogs. We followed some people who looked like they knew what they were doing over to the spring. Oh My God! It was beautiful. It was a charming enclosed area that looked like a pool. You can lay out your belongings anywhere you'd like and make your way up the little trail to start at the top of the spring. The walk is about 2 to 4 minutes. The water is about 68 degrees and crystal clear. You can see all of the rocks. We jumped in at the 6 foot area and made our way down the spring in our floaties until we arrived at the big opening. We probably did this about 3 times. My boyfriend and I were like little kids all over again, jumping in and out of the water. it is very enjoyable. A little cold at first but once you are used to it is not at all bad. I took my GoPro and was able to get some really awesome shots.

When you're looking for a break from the theme parks or wonder what the locals do for fun - come to Kelly Park! We visited mid-week in early November (way off season) and could not find enough wonderful things to say. The water was chilly but the sun was warm enough to make swimming pleasant. It felt like we had the park almost entirely to ourselves which was fantastic. Unfortunately, the tube rental places were closed on the day we went but we still enjoyed floating and wading down the spring run. I can't wait to come back when it's warmer! We saw many fish, turtles, birds, some turkeys and even spotted a deer on the bank of the stream. The bathroom facilities were very clean and there is a nice snack bar (closed during out visit) near the central swimming area. I have heard that Kelly Park can close to visitors during busy summer days and I can see why!

If you are looking for a great place to escape to that's not too far from the hustle and bustle of Orlando, come check out Kelly Park. The scenery is beautiful here, and the camp sights exquisite. The clear waters from the spring and the abundant wildlife will have you saying this is beautiful country!

What a great place! Go and take a tube ride down the springs, walk and see wildlife including a momma bear with cubs we just saw 2 weeks ago meandering about in the campsite area! Or go and take your RV, tents, etc and camp out. They have lots of sites in beautiful wooded areas. We love site #14.. close to bathrooms and to getting to the springs cutting across the back parking lot. Extremely scenic, peaceful and a photographers' delight! $5 gets you in with a carload. RVer stays are from $14 a night to $19 or so I believe, depending on if you live in that county or neighboring counties -- lots of types of discounts.. CHEAP place to stay. Water and Power hookups, no sewer but they do have a dump station. Snack bar open during summer months only. Boat Regatta is first weekend of October yearly... we're going this weekend again.

Fourteen of us experienced the springs mid-week the 3rd week of Sept (ages 2-52). It was very quiet the day we went. There weren't more than 25 other people there and only one other group of 4-5 that were actually floating from start to finish. The water was certainly cold, but floating together and walking the trail back to the beginning of the springs to float again was enjoyed by all. I believe that the rangers said it's a half-mile walk from the end back to the beginning. We all wore water shoes. Some of us brought our own tubes, which worked fine, and others in our group rented their tubes at a small place before arriving at the park. We brought towels in large ziploc bags that we kept in our string packs (we even took a DSLR camera) while we floated down the river since there wasn't anywhere that we wanted to leave them. There's a sand pit area that the kids enjoyed also.

If you plan on going to a park, especially springs in Florida, THERE WILL BE ANIMALS DONE BAM THATS IT, two: if you plan on going to the park, research the rules and such, and you know there are rules, just do not break them, thanks, born n raisedOrlando, fl

This is a great park. It is also called Rock Springs. There are pavilions to rent and ample parking. If you are going into the water I recommend water shoes because the the bottom is very rocky in some areas. You can bring inner tubes and float with the current or you can rent them. The park does not rent the tubes there is a business located outside the park where you pick up and drop off the tubes.

Having seen everything in Orlando while vacationing there the last 6 years we wanted to try something lesser known. We were very lucky as there was no-one there on a random Wednesday morning. A great spot for people to visit who are bored of them parks but we were advised don't go on weekends as it becomes packed.

I agree with others about this being a great place. I admit we were nervous on the first run in case we bumped into an alligator! One thing not to forget is something to keep your valuables/car keys dry in if the whole family goes tubing. We went Second week of Sept mid week and the park was quiet.
