We come here on Mondays and/or Tuesday nights for their dollar special. You can bowl from 9pm-1am for $1 games, $1 drinks (sodas, soft drinks) $1 shoe rentals and $1 wings. This is a great bowling alley with great variety of music and there are a lot of lanes. Usually on Mondays and Tuesday nights it gets a little packed so there may be a bit of a wait but people generally bowl fast and you can just grab a drink and sit and relax and before you know it a lane has opened up. The staff are nice and its a nice place to go bowling at. They also have specials on other days but generally those are the two days we usually go on. Go check it out if you're in the area, the people there are friendly and there are friendly bowlers there as well which makes it nice.
place is very nice and cheap so if you like bowling this is your place. nice late nite bowling with the disco lights
I took my nephew bowling with a group of other kids and there is a step down right where you bowl,he didn't see it fell over it and triped and smashed his finger open needing plastic surgery on his pinky. spent the rest of the night in Coral Springs Emergency Department!!
A lot of fun whether with someone else or a group or you are soloing. The staff is very nice and they have updated the center with new tables and seats for bowlers. I love their late night specials.
It's not the newest of lanes but it has all the basic needs and decent enough food and drinks. It's kind of hidden away so not many people know about it which works in our favor because lanes are readily available. Our 2 kids have fun and that's what counts.
I thought the prices were a bit high but I haven't been bowling in a while. I didn't like that there are not seats at each lane but small tables and chairs behind the lanes. I felt my belongings were too far away and it just wasn't convenient. The lanes were well maintained and set up and scoring was easy to understand.
A lively fun night out at Strikers bowling alley with our Groupon voucher. It was very busy I guess everyone wanted to use their voucher too!!! I was a bit hesitant because of the reviews I had read. Not sure if I choose this venue if I didn't have a Gropon. The pizza was on time and we ordered additional food. Wings and a pitcher of soda. The employees were courteous and helpful. Over all the family had a great night out.
We brought grilled chicken for our daughter who has severe food allergies and we were asked to leave. The GM was severely rude. Don't waste your time even if you have a child with allergies.
Went out looking for in expensive ways to entertain the family on a Saturday afternoon. Purchased an excellent deal on Groupon and can't complain. The kids loved it! Especially my four year old daughter. If your looking for eye candy you can spend your money at an overpriced bowling alley. This place did it for me. Going again to cut a cake for my birthday tomorrow for "Rockin' Bowl" they're glow time with lights and music, can't wait!
Make no mistake when I say that the prices are the best, by far, in the entire Fort Lauderdale area. After much research, I can say that the specials at Striker's are unmatched. HOWEVER, there is a catch to the incredible prices. The extreme low prices attract a very much "undesirable element" that make the experience risky and sometimes outright dangerous if you go during the evening hours. A certain demographic of people, I don't think I need to specify which, clearly do not have any regard for the rules and safety of those around them. The staff seems too afraid to enforce any safety protocols. When you have morons hurling 12-15 pound bowling balls by your head instead of the lane, there is something wrong. This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen because of the negligence and spineless nature of the staff. I will continue to bowl here due to the prices and convenient location. I just wish that the overall safety of the clientele was a bigger concern.
The new owners have cleaned up this location and made it a hip local place for great bowling and food. The Pizza is outstanding!!!!!!
With a $30 Groupon deal for two hours of bowling with up to six bowlers, we head over to Strikers for a “Friday Night Family” outing. It has been many years for most in our group of six since the last time any of us has put a few balls in the gutter. We know it is destined to happen more than once tonight but how bad can it be when we get a 14” pizza included for our effort.Although we all missed the perfect “300” game, some more than others, our time at Striker turns out to be a lot of fun even for a 3 yr old who has never bowled.A posted flyer shows Striker has numerous on going deals but most start after 9pm. However, it is hard to beat the deal we found and our family sure had a good time.
Had a good time with the kids. The pizza was good as we're the fries. It was a little dated but kept very clean. Music system could probably use an upgrade. All in all , had a good time. Best of all they accepted my groupon purchase with no problem. I took their advice and called ahead before redeeming to confirm lanes were available.
Our family recently went to Strikers on a Groupon deal ($30 for two hours of bowling for six people, including shoes and a large pizza) and it worked out pretty well. Strikers is an older place, but it is kept up, and the pizza was pretty good, better than expected. The place was crowded, and people didn't seem to keep track of their own bowling ball -- they just grabbed what was available near their lane, including one teen who walked over to our lane, went through our balls, picked one up and walked off. You need to understand that this is, after all, a bowling alley, and set your expectations accordingly. There were teens hanging around in the parking lot, and children running around inside. At least it is a family place, and around 10 p.m. (I think) they lowered the lights and turned on "glow bowling," which was kind of cool.I'm not sure I'd pay standard prices or go out of my way to go to Strikers, but I'd go again on a Groupon deal or on a special the alley was running.
Three games for three people cost almost $50.00 (not including resfreshments) Whatever happened to cheap entertainment???
