We had no idea what we were going to see but this was a "Superb" experience. Whether you are a sports lover or not you will be absolutely amazed what you will witness. It is a museum and memorabilia and if you are lucky enough you will meet Joel Platt, the President. The real stories that Joel will share with you are about how he met and obtained the memorabilia from the greatest athletes of all time. You must watch the video first so you can understand what Joel has done to obtain the World's Largest Collection with over 1 Million Mementos from the World's Greatest Athletes and his goal of a virtual museum. Walking thru the museum is like a kid walking into a candy store! We only had 3 hours to visit Sports Immortals but there is no doubt that i would go back as there was so much more to see. Some of the items of the players you will see are Gehrig, Ruth, Thorpe, Ali, Steelers, Gibson, Evert, King, Navratilova and so many more! There is a $10.00 PP adult and cheaper for kids fee to watch the video and visit the museumBe sure to make this a stop when visiting South East Florida!

The museum is a must-see for sports lovers. Various historical sports antiques adorn the walls and allow for a wonderful experience. The owner and his son are both fantastic people. I absolutely recommend this to anyone in the Boca Area who has an interest in sports.

I go here pretty much every time I drive by. It was tons of great thing to look at and purchase. The worker know lots of good information and are friendly. Definitely worth a stop, even just to look...

I have no idea why anyone not into sports would want to see this place, let alone review it, but if you do enjoy sports and are near Boca, this place is a must visit. Memorbilia from all kinds of sporting events, from baseball, football and basketball to golf, boxing and horse racing, are well represented here. All the great names, Ruth, Cobb, Ali, Jordan, Thorpe, etc. represented. A lot of great stuff to see and a fine gift shop.

One the place had no cars in the parking lot. Should have been the first clue. The door was locked. The sign out front says free and they charged 10.00 a person. It's one room and half that room is a gift shop. Mr. Plath the owner follows you around and no pictures are allowed. Horrible only go if you want to pay 20 to see one card worth 2.8 million because that's literally all there is to see.

Yes, it is "some rich guys sports memorabilia collection", but who cares? I do believe that this place has the right to call itself a museum. Do museums not show historical collections or exhibits? Personally I do not care about sports with the exception being baseball. My boyfriend excitedly pointed this place out as we were bored out of our mind driving around Boca, so of course we had to stop. I disliked the awkwardness of not knowing where to go. There are two floors. When I walked into the lower floor no one greeted me and it took the genetleman working on the 2nd floor a bizarre amount of minutes to acknowledge me. In his defense, there was sign saying how to get to the 2nd floor but we could not find the elevator. You'd think after a while he would show the way if he could see us on camera, or at least greet us with a "hello" when he hears the door open?Anyway, once we got to see the whole collection it didn't matter anymore. The same guy did a lot of talking, but he was really nice and knowledgeable. This place has been featured on TV and he played the show for us in their theatre (the seats are from baseball stadiums!). The amount of memorabilia was impressive. I really hope that they expand as we were told they are trying to do. It would be awesome to see the rest of the collection! Deserves more foot traffic - go check it out.

This is essentially some rich guys sports memorabilia collection. It's cool if your into sports memorabilia.

This is a store masquerading as a museum. It's not a museum in the traditional sense. You go here to buy sports memorabilia. There's nothing wrong with that as a business, and it's probably the only one of its kind in Boca Raton, but to call it a museum is misleading.

I love the memrobilia, i bought a john stockton poster from 1993, they have signed pictures, cards, and sports equipment of just about every major athlete. The price is reasonable, though i truthfully don't believe there is any reason to really walk around the museum aspect. Its a great place to bring a sports fan, and a nice way to spend a rainy afternoon.

My husband & I were searching for something to do & he is a sports nut so I thought he'd enjoy this. First off, closed on Sundays - prime family day. Second, cost $10 to get in and it was 1 room of things - website indicated more. Interesting stuff, not worth the time and price.
