Get there early. My favorite beach. Saw many dolphins, bald eagles and osprey. Good place for sharks teeth too. Not great but good.

easy walk to Stump Pass - usually an Osprey on the nest - beach access - very clean - no litter!parking is $3 per day - for those looking for a short walk (under a mile I think) - this is a good spot. often see dolphins on the Lemon Bay side

The beach is great but there is limited parking and it has lost about 2/3 of its volume in the last two years from storms. Great sunset views. Parking cost $3.

Loved this State park. Nice white sand and lots of shells available. Parking small but so worth it getting their early. Not as crowded as other areas. Very clean and ranger in the parking area very friendly and helpful. The water, well it is the Gulf of Mexico. Beautiful blue.

Beautiful! White sands and lots of it. Less crowded than a lot if places but ..parking is a premium and somewhat limited!

The parking lot at Stump pass is very small and fills up quickly. We tried to get in today..no luck. However, we have been there many times and it truly is a beautiful beach area. The restrooms facilities are clean and conveniently located. There is also a short walk through the mangrove area with informational signage. Be sure to go early for a parking spot

A very nice beach but bring an umbrella if you want any shade. We took the 1.3 mile trail which was very nice but it does have some soft sand to walk on for part of the way. Cars cost $3 no matter how many are in it and to walk in (which we did as we were staying a short walk away) it cost $2 per person. There are a few picnic tables and a soda machine.

Beautiful beach right on the Gulf of Mexico. I got here by way of a boat tour and loved it. Saw lots of birds and dolphins. Would love to come back here when it's warmer and catch some rays all day. I'd recommend going by boat because it's a half mile or more walk to the very end, where the island opens out into the Gulf. This was the most beautiful sunset I have seen in my life. I will definitely go back there.

Sandy walk to end of peninsula, in some sun but nice shade too. Ospreys are abundant. Did not see manatees.

A beautifully scenic park. The only disappointment was after the 1.3 mile hike over the nature trail to the beach, it would have been nice to have a place to sit down at the end point with perhaps a comfort station and a drinking fountain available. Those things are available at the start of the trail but not at the end.I am 65 years old with an arthritic knee so the trek was a bit uncomfortable. The scenery was very enjoyable, but I don't think I would make that hike again knowing those conditions.

Easy to access though parking lot can be crowded. Three dollars to park but totally worth it. I'll go back again and again. Best way to visit is by boat.

We saw a snake, some weasel-like mammals in the distance, had a nice time with a friendly Great Blue Heron and enjoyed our own 'private beach'

Great place to go and enjoy the beach and water. You can walk out to the end of Manasota Key. This is a county park and you do have to pay for parking.

We go here by bike or car to hike, kayak and swim. The nature hike to the Gull of Mexico Pass is wonderful. Nice kayaking launch point. Parking is difficult during the tourist season and on weekends.

This is a true hidden gem of Englewood.. Nice quiet beach with some pleasant walking trails. Only negative is parking, which is limited and can fill up quickly on busy days.
