first united methodist church

We have been visiting this church for about a month, and compared to other churches in this area it is the one that we find most inspirational. The people there always greet us with warm smiles and seem genuinely happy that we are there. There are two worship services on Sunday morning, both of which we like a lot. You should visit this church.

Very friendly people, a great message by a very enthusiastic preacher delivering God's word and plan for everyone. Extensive programs that share God's love with the community.

It does not matter what denomination you are, you are welcome to this wonderful church in Ormond Beach.. There is a brand new preacher, who is a die hard Seminole Fan and is a dynamic speaker.. He grabs your attention and never lets go for one hour.. If you are a church goer and like to visit churches when on trips, stop in.. If you are looking for a preacher who loves to jump into the mix, visit, the First United Methodist Church of Ormond Beach.. I guarentee you will walk out talking and telling your friends about the visit!!

We have been going here about 8 years! The congregation is very friendly and helpful. They do a lot of community activities like Trunk or Treat on Halloween, huge manger parade entry winner built by the youth group which is very active. Two services contemporary is at 9 and traditional is at 11. Pastor Bill is a " living in today's world" type of orator, always up to date on local and world events. This church is a drop off site for food donations for the local homeless shelter and participates in the Emmaus walks. Marginally wheelchair accessible, but doable. Loads of bible study classes and volunteer opportunities.
