Smaller state park with a moderate hiking trail to fire tower with awesome views. Stayed in upper camping area at a site with a leanto, makes camping better.Best part was unexpected, newer tiled bathroom facility with free hot showers. Kept extremely clean. Would definitely return for another stay.

WE stayed in a different area of the campground this time- and were SO close to the main road all we could hear was traffic the whole time- and also the section we were in this time had the older bathrooms- and it cost 25cents for every 5 minutes of hot water. But that's pretty standard at campgrounds. The site was big and beautiful- if only there wasn't the road noise....Will definitely go again but will request as far from the road as possible.

A great hike that takes you to a fire tower to overlook the valleys of Vermont. Beautiful and relatively easy.

Be aware most Vermont state parks do not allow dogs - this one is an exception. Hike to the top of the mountain and climb the old fire tower. The view is second to none. Nice picnic area as well. No lake so it's not a heavily used park but that is part of the appeal for me!! So many free places to hike - so its a little wierd to have a daily use fee. It's nominal - I think it was $6 if I remember right. Go check it out and bring Fido !!

This is a great hike for families with younger kids (ours are 7 & 8). They enjoyed it and climbing to the top of the fire tower. The park was very clean and although we didn't stay there the camp sites look very nice.

All the park personnel were very friendly and helpful, campsites were far enough away from each other to afford plenty of privacy. And the bathrooms were CLEAN!!!!

My first time camping in a VT State Park but certainly not my last. Molly Stark is a jem. Very clean new bath house and manicured grounds. The staff was very friendly and the firewood was seasoned for perfect campfires. The sites are well spaced for privacy. Site #6 is most private. The adirondack shelters look fun if you don't have a camper or tent. Be sure to hike to the tower for awesome views! I'll be back for sure!!

We enjoyed two nights at this very well-kept little campground. There is a nice play field with volleyball and horseshoes, a very friendly park ranger family who invited our two-year-old to share their son's sandbox. We camped next to the old coin-operated showers, but it was only a short walk to the nice new free showers. The lower section of the campground (where we stayed) was close enough to the highway to get a good amount of highway noise, but it never disturbed my sleep. Not terribly atmospheric, though. The hike up Mount Olga from this campground was a fun little walk, too. Overall, a great vacation!(A note: Tripadvisor has this location listed as in Marlboro, VT, but Molly Stark State Park is in Wilmington, VT.)

This is a hike you can take with anyone as it is manageable no matter what your skill or stamina. The reward is getting to the top and climbing the fire tower. In the fall there is no better view of the spectacular colors that make Vermont such a magical place to visit.

We stayed at the campground for two nights, and both the park and the campground are very nicely kept. The hike to the fire tower is an easy one (uphill, yes), and the view from the top of it made it worth.

If you want to stretch your legs, there's a great little hike up to a fire tower on the top a mountain. From the tower there's great visual rewards for such little effort.
