It was still morning and still slow but the Casino is very dark and I thought unattractive; they should also have some lower limit tables where one can learn.

My wife and I stayed here for the second night of our honeymoon and the hotel staff went out of their way to make sure that we had the best stay at the hotel! We got a players suite for100 bucks it was awesome! Great customer service!

Offers a wide variety of table games, Keno, and lots and lots of slots, even an occasional wheel of fortune. Nice facility to make your donation(s) to the gods of chance.

El Dorado is a high end place, yet it has so much. Love the shows and casino. Very clean and I love the fact that it connects indoors to some other casinos.

But the casino is clean, has a very good ventilation system (important to us non-smokers), and the staff is friendly.

we only went to the Eldorado to gamble but had a fun time. Staff were very friendly, everything was clean. Right downtown by several other casinos.

During a stay in Reno, we booked a third row seat at the Eldorado Casino to see a show called "Mystique of India" and it was the high point of our visit. I grinned until it hurt. About 10 women and 20 men performed dances from several states in India. Some dances were historic--it was so well executed, and the music, upbeat. LOVED it! The dancers, not all Indian, clearly loved it, too. WOW!! I am grateful to have caught that one.

We were in Reno on Monday and Tuesday evening. We wanted to celebrate our anniversary with a nice dinner and show. Unfortunately there are very few options on these two nights of the week. The concierge at the Atlantis (where we were staying) recommended "Spectra" which is created by the producers of Illuminaire. This show has a lot of special effects, and acrobatics. Very enjoyable. Would recommend this show for a nice evening of entertainment. My only caution is that the end of the show uses a lot of fire as part of the juggling which created a lot of smoke. Anyone with respiratory problems would have difficulty breathing.

Most of the casinos in Reno are pretty run down. This place is nice, smells good inside, and it also has a wide variety of restaurants. The italian restaurant is voted one of the top 10 in the country

As soon as I walked through the door I was accosted by a security guard, demanding to know if I was registered at the hotel. I said no. He told me that he was not disputing that my dog is a service dog but all service dogs are REQUIRED to be registered with security before being allowed on the property. I informed him that was against the law and said they have the right to have me arrested for trespassing if I didn't go straight to security and register the dog. I told him I would not and I was going to cash in my chips and would go. I was trying to find the cashier when a second officer came up and told me to leave. I told her as soon as I got my money. The first officer came back and said he talked to his supervisor who told him to escort us out or charge us with tresspass. I got my money and was escorted out, which was embarrassing because it appeared to all of the patrons that I was a bad person being thrown out. My dog has been working for 6 years and had been in that casino many times without a problem. We had just flown from South Carolina, changing planes in Dallas, and everyone was in awe of him, including the flight attendants. Never again do I want to go into the El Dorado after this.

Great atmosphere, huge selection of slots and other gaming choices. Large selection of bars and lounges.

As another reviewer coined, "Nice ventilation system!", I must heartily agree. Many of the other casinos nearby we strolled through seemed a lot more smokier than "The Casino at the Eldorado". Since neither myself or my bride smoke, we tend to pick up on those lingering odors. BUT.. these are gambling venues where cigarettes happen, and while the smoke doesn't bother me personally.. it did for Mrs. Mowerboy.. but not here. I would point the non-smokers to the Eldorado if your sniffer is sensitive, and they'll gladly accept your money just as readily as the other, smokier casinos!

1st time to Reno so the Eldorado was the first casino we played in since we were staying there. It was fun.

My friend and I spent 2 evenings last week looking for nightlife of music and dancing and Roxy's martini bar had it! Everyone seemed happy and having a great time. My only complaint is to rip up the carpet and put in some nice floors for dancing. The music was wonderful! We had a great time and the service was one of the best places we went to both nights.If you weren't up and dancing your toe was tapping!
